MUNICIPAL LIEN FOR SEWER SERVICES
North Middleton Authority, North Middleton Township, County of Cumberland,
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by its solicitor, Broujos & Gilroy, P.C., hereby files its claim
for water and sewer services against the real estate hereinafter described and sets forth its
claim as follows:
STATEMENT OF CLAIM
The name of the municipality by which this claim is filed is North Middleton Authority, a
municipal authority of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, located in the County of
Cumberland and organized pursuant to ordinances of North Middleton Township.

The authorities under and by virtue of which this lien is tiled is the Municipal Claims and
Liens Act of May 16, 1923, P.L. 207, as amended and supplemented, 53 P.S. 7101 et seq.
The name or names of owner or owners or reputed owner or owners, of the property against
which this claim is filed is Shawn M. Britcher and Cathryn L. Jago, 828 West North Street,
Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
A description of the property against which it is filed is attached hereto and marked Exhibit
"A", with an address of 828 West North Street, Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

The lien is claimed for unpaid water and sewer hook-up fees pursuant to an agreement
between the parties against the above described property in the amount of $1,700.00.

BETWEEN EMMA S. WEAER, also known as ERMA S. WIMER, widow, of
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, hereinafter called
"GRANTOR",
AND SHAWN M. BRITCHER, single man, and CATHRYN L. JAGO,
single woman, of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, hereinafter called
"GRANTEES":
WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of SEVENTY-THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED
AND 00/100 ($73,800.00) Dollars, in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, the Grantor does hereby grant and convey to the said Grantees, their heirs
and assigns;
ALL that certain tract of land situated in the Township of North Middleton, County of
Cumberland and State of Pennsylvania, more particularly bounded and described as
follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the south side of West North Street of the Borough of
Carlisle, as the same is extended into North Middleton Township, at the line of property
now or formerly of Ralph B. Bower and Lena B. Bower, his wife, which point is also in
the dividing line between Lots numbered 23 and 24 on the hereinafter mentioned Plan of
Lots; thence in a southerly direction by said dividing line 240 feet to a point on the
northern line of a 20-foot wide public alley; thence by the dividing line of said alley in an
easterly direction, 40 feet to the dividing line between Lots numbered 22 and 23 on said
Plan of Lots; thence in a northerly direction by said northern line, 240 feet to a point in
the southern line of West North Street extended; thence in a westerly direction by said
southern line of West North Street, 40 feet to the place of BEGINNING.
BEING Lot No. 23 on the revised Plan of Lots on the Bretz Tract, which plan is of
record in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds at Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in Plan Book No.
3, Page 87.

BEING the same premises which Harry Laird and T. Madeline Laird, his wife, by their
Deed dated September 4, 1954 and recorded September 4, 1954 in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds in and for Cumberland County in Deed Book "T', Volume 15, Page
30, granted and conveyed unto Clarence M. Wimer and Emma S. Wimer. The said
Emma S. Wimer was incorrectly identified as such rather than her correct name, Erma S.
Wimer, therefore for purposes of this transaction the two are one in the same. Clarence
M. Wimer died on August 7, 1976 where by operation of law title became vested solely
in Emma S. Wimer also known as Erma S. Wimer, Grantor herein.
AND the Grantor hereby covenant and agree that she will warrant specially the property
hereby conveyed.
