The plaintiff is Barbara Starbuck, an adult individual residing at Modern Manor Trailer Court, Solar St. Lot 10, Iowa City, Iowa 52281. 2. The defendant is Richard Picken, an adult individual residing at 257 Roxbury Road, Newville, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17241. 3. On or about March 6, 2005, at the special insistence and oral request of the defendant, plaintiff loaned to the defendant the sum of $9,000. A copy of the check representing said loan is incorporated herein by reference and attached hereto as Exhibit "A". 4. Defendant has acknowledged said debt and has made numerous promises to repay it, but to date, despite repeated demands by the plaintiff, has refused to repay the debt or any part thereof.
