Whereas, the Owner is about to execute contemporaneously herewith, a contract, with said
contractor, a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, for
the General Construction work located within the lot of land situate in the Borough of Camp
Hill, County of Cumberland and State of Pennsylvania. Being Lot No.6, Section A, Plan of
Parkway Terrace, said Plan being recorded in the Cumberland County Recorder's Office in Plan
Book 10, at Page 23. Being the same premises which Elvin H. Williard by deed dated July 31,
1995 and recorded on August 2, 1995 in the Recorder of Deeds Office in and for Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, in Deed Book 125, Page 1184, granted and conveyed unto James P.
Fickes and Suzanne M. Fickes, his wife.
Now, Therefore, on June 'If ,2006, at the time of and immediately before the execution
of the principal contract, and before any authority has been given by the said owner to the said
contractor to commence work on the said project, or purchase materials for the same in
consideration of the making of the said contract with the said contractor and the further
consideration of One Dollar paid to the said contractor by the said owner, it is agreed that no
mechanic's claims or other liens shall be filed against the building and/or ground appurtenant
thereto by the contractor, or any sub-contractor, nor by any of the material men or workmen or
any other person for any labor, or materials purchased, or extra labor or materials purchased or
furnished in connection with the construction of the said project or any part thereof, the right to
file such liens being expressly waived and relinquished herewith.
