AND NOW, this 7th day of July, 2006, IT IS ORDERED AND DIRECTED that the
Petition to Seek Appointment of Guardian to represent the incapacitated person,
Robert D. Young for the purpose of medical and psychiatric decision making is
withdrawn. The previous Order of Court dated June 22, 2006 appointing Judy Britten,
Emergency Guardian of the person of Robert D. Young is hereby vacated.

: APPOINTMENT OF GUARDIAN
PRAECIPE TO WITHDRAWAL GUARDIANSHIP OF THE PERSON
AND NOW Comes, Carlisle Regional Medical Center by and through its counsel,
Lavery, Faherty, Young & Patterson, PoC., by Joseph A. Ricci, Esq., and requests that this
Honorable Court enter an order withdrawing the request for guardianship of the person for
Mr. Robert D. Young for the following reasons:
1. The alleged incapacitated person is Mr. Robert D. Young an adult male.
2. Mr. Young was a patient at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center, 45 Sprint
Drive, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 17013.
3. Prior to his hospitalization, Mr. Young was being held on a warrant, for failure to
register as a sex offender, at the Cumberland County Prison located at 1101 Clairmont
Road, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 17013.
4. Mr. Young has since been transported to Mayview Psychiatric Center in
Bridgeville, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
5. As Mr. Robert D. Young is no longer at Carlisle Regional Medical Center, the
petitioner no longer has standing to seek the appointment of guardian for Mr . Young.
WHEREFORE it is respectfully requested that this Honorable Court issue an order
withdrawing the request for guardian of the person of Robert D. Young for the purpose of
providing medical decision making authority.
