CUMBERLAND COUNTY ADOPTION EVALUATOR LIST
To THE HONORABLE, THE JUDGES OF THE SAID COURT:

Pamela S. Moran, MSW, LSW, does Petition and move the Court by and through h€f.J
attorney, Brett P. Zankel, Esquire to be added to the Cumberland County Adoption Evaluators
List and avers in support as follows:
1. Pamela S. Moran, a lifetime Cumberland County resident, currently resides at
3525 Green Street, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, 17011.
2. Petitioner holds Social Worker License (LSW) # SW124212 from the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
3. Petitioner has the requisite educational background and holds the degree of
Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
Michigan 1999; as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Ohio
University 1992.
4. Petitioner has extensive professional experience in these matters. From May
2000 to September 2002 Petitioner was an adoption consultant for Jewish
Family Services of Harrisburg, a member of the State Wide Adoption Network
(SW AN). Petitioner performed an extensive number of adoption home studies
for Court use as well as performing child profiles of children freed by Court

Order for adoption along with recommendations for the agency and Court.
5. Petitioner also has extensive social work experience. Petitioner was a child
protection social case worker for Denver Area Youth Services, Denver,
Colorado, from November 1995 to August 1998, and is currently employed by
Edgewater Children's Services, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania as a therapist behavior
specialist since January 2005. Prior to that Petitioner was employed by
Cumberland Valley School District as a School Social Worker from August
2001 to December 2004. This is only a brief listing of Petitioner's professional
social work experience.
6. Petitioner has a unique skill which has been utilized by members of the State
Wide Adoption Network. Petitioner is literate and conversational in Spanish.
Petitioner gained this skill as a Peace Corps trainee in Guatemala and by living
in Guatemala for a period of time.
7. Petitioner avers that it is in the public interest for the Court to certify her to do
adoption studies for the Court.
Wherefore the Petitioner Pamela S. Moran, respectfully moves the Court to add her to
the list of Court approved adoption evaluators.
