Thank you for the "reminder" for filing the Status Report
for the Estate of Horace C. Rodgers, Jr., No. 21-04-0828.
Enclosed please find the completed Status Report, on
which I have marked that the estate is not yet "complete" with
its administration.
As we were preparing the income tax returns for some of
the beneficiaries, it came to light that the Executor and I
may have inadvertently showEl't1 as "Sch G. assets" some Series EE
bonds which were not "assets". It is necessary for us to
correct this error and wish to keep the estate "open" until
error is correted.
We believe, as I have shown on the status Report, that
the error can be corrected by the end of 2006.
I do appreciate.. your assistance. Being an "out-of-
county" practitioner, sometimes I am not aware of how procedure
is handled in your County. Yes, I am aware of "Status Report"
filing, but our County tends to send letter after date Report is
due, not before.
