Dear Ms. Strasbaugh:
I represent the Estate of Laura A. Johnson. Enclosed is a
check made payable to the Register of Wills, Agent, in the amount
of $14,342.63, same constituting a prepayment at discount on
account of Pennsylvania inheritance taxes in the above-captioned
estate. The prepayment is determined as follows: $100,650.00
multiplied by 15% or $15,097.50, less discount in the amount of
5% or $754.87, resulting in payment of $14,342.63. Please
provide me with the appropriate receipt in this matter.
