MUNICIPAL LIEN FOR SERVICES AND SEWER RATES
AND NOW, comes Monroe Township Municipal Authority, of 1220
Boiling Springs Road, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, by and through
its Solicitor, James D. Bogar, Esquire, and files the following
municipal claim against DAWN M. SHUGHART, an adult individual,
owning property located at 1283 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling
Springs, Monroe Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 17007,
her last known mailing address being: 951 Walnut Bottom Road,
Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013. DAWN M, SHUGHART is the owner of
all that certain lot of ground, including any improvements
thereon, being more fully described as follows:
ALL THAT CERTAIN house and lot of ground situate in Monroe
Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, bounded and
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the center line of 60 feet wide LR
507 known as Pennsylvania Route No. 174, which point at the
place of beginning is a distance of 285 feet, more or less,
West of the intersection of Church and Main Streets in the
Village of Allen; thence from said point at the place of
beginning along the western line of land now or formerly of

Hulda E, Greegor, South 20 degrees 34 minutes 30 seconds
East, a distance of 170 feet to an iron pin in the center
line of a 14 feet wide alley, South 70 degrees 30 minutes
West, a distance of 45 feet to an iron pin at corner of land
now or formerly of Ruth Zell; thence along the eastern line
of said land now or formerly of Ruth Zell, North 20 degrees
34 minutes 30 seconds West, a distance of 170 feet to a
point in the center line of said 60 feet wide LR 507 known
as Pennsylvania Route 74; thence along the center line of
said 60 feet wide LR 507 known as Pennsylvania Route 174,
North 70 degrees 30 minutes East, a distance of 45 feet to a
point at the place of BEGINNING.
Said description in accordance with a survey made by John C.
Bulhart, Registered Surveyor, dated September 5, 1979.
HAVING ERECTED THEREON a two and one-half story frame and
brick dwelling house and detached garage being known and
numbered as 1283 Boiling Springs Road, Allen, Pennsylvania.
BEING the same premises which Sandra L. Massie, single
person, by her deed dated February 4, 2005 and recorded
February 7, 2005 in the Cumberland County Recorder of Deeds
Office in Deed Book 267, Page 2222 granted and conveyed unto
Dawn M. Shughart, married woman.
Tax Parcel No. 22-28-2401-070.
Monroe Township Municipality Authority hereby files this
Municipal Lien for Services and Sewer Rates levied and assessed
from February 7, 2005 through and including June 30, 2006 (first
quarter calendar year 2005 through and including second quarter
calendar year 2006). Said Authority services and sewer rates
were levied and assessed pursuant to Authority Resolution No, 02-
04, same being known as a Resolution of the Board of Monroe

Township Municipal Authority imposing user charges to be
collected from the owner of each improved property served or to
be served by this Authority's sewer systems; and providing for
payment and collection of such user charges. Attached hereto and
incorporated herein are the statements forwarded by Monroe
Township Municipal Authority to DAWN M. SHUGHART for sewerage due
to be treated from February 7, 2005 through and including June
30, 2006 (first quarter calendar year 2005 through and including
second quarter calendar year 2006), which services total is in
the amount of $1,274.24, which sum was duly assessed against DAWN
M. SHUGHART, and the real property described herein from the date
of said billing statements as attached hereto, and for which sum,
with interest in the amount of ten (10%) percent, along with
penalties and all costs, including attorneys' fees, a municipal
lien is claimed against the above-described real property and

premises in accordance with the Act of May 16, 1923, P,L, 207,
~7, as amended, 53 P.S. ~7101, et seq, as amended (Municipal
Claims and Tax Liens) .

I am contacting you on behalf of Monroe Township relative to your sewer account #1263.
This account is delinquent. As of the last billing notice, same being dated 5/15106. the
delinquency is in the amount of $1,274.24. The pmpose of this letter is to request that this
account be brought current If the account is not brought current within ten (10) days of receipt
of this letter, a Municipal Lien will be placed against real estate owned by you, same being
known and numbered as 1283 Bolling Sprinp Road, BoDlDg SpriDp, PA. This will result in
filing fees, service costs and attorney's fees, Attorney's fees that are incurred with respect to the
collection of this delinquent account will be assessed Attorney's fees will be charged at the
current rate. Attorney's fees will be imposed and/or assessed if this amount remains delinquent
after thirty (30) days from the mailing of this notice (if by certified mail) or within ten (10) days
after mailing of this notice (if by regular mail). The imposition of assessment of attorney's fees
may be avoided by you making payment in full of the delinquency within ten (10) days of receipt
of this letter as set forth herein.
