Extension of Time to File P A Inheritance Tax Return
Gentlemen:
This firm IS counsel to J. Kenneth Lowrie and Crystal U. Hackett, the Co-Executors of the
Estate of Russell E. Allyn, Deceased. Dr. Allyn died testate on November 17,2005, domiciled in
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
At present the Co-Executors are waiting for additional information to finish the Federal and
Pennsylvania death tax returns. Accordingly, the Co-Executors are filing an application for the
automatic six month extension of time to file the Federal estate tax return. The Co-Executors hereby
request a similar six month extension of time to file the Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax Return, which
is due on August 17, 2006. Please note that no payments on account have been made because the
estate assets pass to the surviving spouse in a spousal trust; therefore no inheritance tax is expected
