IN RE: APPOINTMENT OF SCHOOL
POLICE OFFICERS FOR SOUTH
MIDDLETON SCHOOL DISTRICT
IN THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS OF
CUMBERLA1: COUNTY, PENNSYL VANIA

ORDER OF COURT
AND NOW, this ~ day of
, 2006, upon consideration of the
foregoing application and on the motion of Stock and Leader, LLP, Attorneys for the South
Middleton School District, the request of the foregoing application is granted and the persons listed
below are hereby appointed School Police Officers for the South Middleton School District for the
year ending June 30, 2007, said person being subject to the powers, duties and requirements of the
Public School Code of 1949, as amended, Section 778 (24 P.S. 7-778) upon compliance with the
other requirements of the aforesaid Act. The following persons shall have the Authority to enforce
good order in school buildings, on school buses and on school grounds:

IN THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS OF
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
NO. 2006- '(1'13 CIVIL TERM
PETITION FOR APPOINTMENT OF SCHOOL POLICE OFFICERS
TO THE HONORABLE, THE JUDGES OF SAID COURT:
The South Middleton School District by its Solicitors, Stock and Leader, LLP, hereby
makes application to this Court for the appointment of School Police Officers for the South
Middleton School District under the provisions of the Public School Code of 1949, as amended,
Section 778 (24 P.S. 7-778), and represents as follows:
1. That the South Middleton School District is a duly organized and constituted
school district located in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
2. That said South Middleton School District is desirous of and in need of School
Police Officers to act as policemen of said School District.
3. That the Board of School Directors of the South Middleton School District has by
resolution adopted on August 21, 2006, designated the following named persons to act as School
Police Officers for the school year ending June 30, 2007, subject to the appointment by your
Honorable Court:
William 1. Hedrick, 3 Forge Road, Boiling Springs, P A 17007
Terry 1. Hockley, 310 Bonnybrook Road, Carlisle, PA 17013

WHEREFORE, the South Middleton School District respectfully requests your
Honorable Court to appoint the above named persons as School Police for the South Middleton
School District with the authority to enforce good order in school buildings, on school buses and
on school grounds for said School District in accordance with the Public School Code of 1949,
as amended.
