College Street and having thereon erected a house. (See property description
attached. )

Prior notice in accordance with law was served upon the owner by first class United
States certified mail, postage prepaid, at the owner's address at 338 North College
Street in Carlisle, PA on June 20, 2006. The said services were provided by the
Borough of Carlisle and the charge levied therefor in strict accordance with Article XVIII
of the Borough Code, Act of February 1,1966, P.L 1655 (1965), No. 581, Section 1801
et. sea., 53 P.S_ Section 46801 et sea., Ordinance 145-C, Article II of Chapter 120,
and/or Article V of Chapter 223 of the Code of the Borough of Carlisle.

WITNESSETH, the said Howard Lee Manning by his Last Will and Testament, duly
proved and recorded in the Register's office of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, as
Estate No. 21-99-0370, provided inter alia, as follows:

V. APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR: I nominate and appoint my spouse, FREDDIE B.
MANNING, as Executor of this my I.AST WILL AND TESTAMENT. If FREDDIE B.
MANNING is unable or unwilling to serve in this capacity, I appoint my daughter,
VANESSA LEE BROWN, to serve instead. I request that my Executor be permitted to
serve without bond or surety thereon. I authorize my Executor to do any and all things
which in his opinion are necessary to complete the administration and settlement of my
estate, including full right, power and authority, without the order of any court and upon
such terms and under such conditions as my Executor shall deem best for the proper
settlement of my estate; to bargain, sell at public or private sale, convey, transfer, deed,
mortgage, lease, exchange, pledge, manage and deal with any and all property
belonging to my estate; to compromise, settle, adjust, release and discharge any and
all obligations or claims in favor of or against my estate, and to borrow money for the
payment of inheritance and estate taxes or for any other purpose. Without in any way
limiting the scope of the powers enumerated herein of my Executor, I hereby
- specifically give to him full power to retain any and all securities or property owned by
me at the time of my decease whenever, in his absolute and uncontrolled discretion,
such a course shall seem to him to be best, without liability for depreciation or loss, and
free from investment restrictions incident to executorship, whether Imposed by common
law or statute. In the execution of his duties and powers as Executor he shall have the
power to comply with all legal requirements as to the execution and delivery of deeds
and all other writings, documents or formalities without the order of any court; and he

shall furnish a statement of receipts and disbursements at least annually to each
person then entitled to receive income or property from my estate.
NOW THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH, that the said Grantor, by virtue of the power
and authority aforesaid, in said Will contained, and in consideration of the sum of Fifty-
three Thousand and 00/100 ($53,000.00) Dollars to it paid by the said Grantee, at and
before the unsealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and does hereby grant,
bargain, sell and convey to the said Grantee, her heirs and assigns forever_

BEGINNING at a point on the Southwest comer of North College Street and Lincoln
Street, which point of beginning is 12 feet Wes~of the street side of the curb on North
College Street and 12 feet South of the street side of the curb on Lincoin Street; thence
by North College Street, South 14 degrees 21 minutes West 19.92 feet; thence by the
partition wall between 336 North College Street and 338 North College Street, and the
extension thereof, North 76 degrees 12 minutes 40 seconds West 151.50 feet to a
point at a public alley; thence along said alley, North 14 degrees 21 minutes East 20.41
feet to a point at the property line on the South side of Lincoln Street; thence along
Lincoln Street, South 76 degrees 5 minutes East 151.50 feet to the Piece of
BEGINNING.
THE property above described is the property shown as No. 338 on the survey of
property of Robert Thompson Estate, recorded in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, in
Plan Book 16, Page 19.
BEING the same premises which Lee R. Snyder and Ruth l. Snyder, by Deed dated
December 8, 1970 and recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds in and for
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, in Deed Book 23, Vol. "XU, Page 23, granted and
conveyed unto Howard Lee Manning and Freddie B. Manning. The said Freddie B.
Manning died 3/16/99 whereby title became vested by law in Howard Lee Manning.
The said Howard Lee Manning died 4/4/99 whereby tille became vested by law in his
estate, the Grantor herein.
AND the said Grantor hereby covenants and agree that she will warrant specially the
property hereby conveyed.
