SECTION 3102 ::;.c;--i ..i> ~ :z: 9 c..n o TO: THE HONORABLE JUDGES OF SAID COURT: The Petition of Gloria A. Anderson respectfully represents that: 1. Victor S. Russell died on May 5, 2005, a resident of North Newton Township Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. 2. Petitioner, whose address is 810 Greenspring Road, Newville, Pennsylvania, 17241, is the Executrix named in Decedent's Last Will and Testament dated February 6, 2001. 3. A Certificate of Grant of Letters Testamentary was issued to Petitioner by the Register of Wills of Cumberland County Pennsylvania, on June 22, 2005. 4. Decedent's named heirs in her Last Will and Testament dated February 6, 2001 and the distributions set forth therein were as follows: (a) $1,000.00 to the National Rifle Association; (b) $1,000.00 to the Salvation Army. ........, c:=.. <:.::::) <:;;;:-.. <n f"'l'1 -0 --::tJ F] (---.....J _~~cJ '..--"J rr=, C-:J (-~') -""r ~f '" (~~~ ,-r'l ,:;~~ u (c) $500.00 to Friendship Hose Company of Newville, Pennsyl vania; (d) $500.00 to the Friendship Ambulance Company of Newville, Pennsylvania; and (e) $500.00 to the Newburg Fire Company. 5. The rest, residue and remainder of Decedent's estate was divised to your Petitioner. 6. At the time of Decedent's death, the only assets of which he was seized were as follows: (a) Prudential Stock (b) Adams Electric Cooperative, Inc. Patronage capital (c) Adams Electric Cooperative, Inc. Refund of overpayment (d) Personal property (auction) (e) Liberty Mutual Insurance Refund (f) Sprint Refund (g) 1991 Cadillac Sedan (sold) (h) 1989 Chevrolet pick-up (BlueBook) (i) Legion Home Association (Donation) (j) VFW Post 6070 (Donation) (k) American Legion (Donation) (1) Certificate of Depost (Burial CD) Total $ 7,056.00 $ 5.60 $ 19.49 $ 4,310.00 $ 84.00 $ 2.71 $ 1,100.00 $ 1,755.00 $ 100.00 $ 300.00 $ 100.00 $ 5,514.1 0 $20,346.90 7. At the time of his death, decedent owned a checking account number 225177 at Adams County National Bank, jointly with your Petitioner as joint tenants with the right or surviorship, which account had a date of death balance of $5,878.99. 8. The aforesaid assets are the only asset of which Decedent was seized at the time of his death and those assets were liquidated and used to pay estate debt. 9. From the estate assets available to Petitioner the following estate debts were paid: (a) Egger Funeral Home $ 5,538.00 (b) Griffie & Associates $ 4,000.00 (c) Probate fees to Register of Wills $ 136.00 (d) The Sentinel (Ad) $ 122.51 (e) Cumberland Law Journal (Ad) $ 75.00 (f) PPL Utilities $ 47.51 (g) Sprint $ 42.36 (h) PPL Utilities $ 9.12 Total $ 9,970.50 10. Petitioner has paid all known estate debts and expenses accordingly. 11. From the estate assets, Petitioner has made the following distributions: (a) (b) (c) National Rifle Association Salvation Army $ 1,000.00 $ 1,000.00 $ 500.00 Friendship Hose Company (Newville, P A) (d) (e) Friendship Ambulance Company (Newville, PA) Newburg Fire Company (Newville, P A) $ 500.00 $ 500.00 Total $ 3,500.00 12. There are no additional claimants or creditors of whom the Petitioner has knowledge who have not received full compensation. 13. A Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax Return has been filed previously in this estate, together with permitted discounts and exemptions, and along with any interest and penalties. 14. The Inheritance Tax has been paid in full, as evidence by the Inheritance Tax statement of account is attached hereto incorporate as hereby reference as Exhibit "A." 15. The only additional disbursements available for any heirs, after the debts have been paid and exemptions have been considered, is $10,015.50 to your Petitioner as the remainder man of the estate. 16. Notice of the intention of filing the within Petition has been given to any named beneficiaries, who have not received their distribution of estate assets as provided by the decedent's Last Will and Testimony, and to any creditors known to Petitioner, as all known disbursements have been made and all creditors have been paid. WHEREFORE, Petitioner requests your Honorable Court to approve settlement of this estate as described herein with final distribution being made to Petitioner as aforesaid.
