PENNSYLVANIA
The petition of Robert K. Keefer respectfully represents that:
1. Frances J. Keefer ("Decedent"), died on October 10, 2004.
2. Decedent's family or principal residence was at G.unberland Qmnty, Pennsylvania.
3. Decedent was survived by two children, Richard G. Keefer and petitioner, Robert K.
Keefer.
4. On March 16,1994, Decedent executed her will, a copy of which is attached hereto,
wherein she gave her entire estate to Richard G. Keefer and petitioner and appointed
Richard G. Keefer and petitioner as Executors.
5. At the time of her death, Decedent owned certain real property, money on deposit, and
personal effects, all located in G.unberland County, Pennsylvania.
6. Accordingly, it is necessary that the will be produced for probate and letters
testamentary be granted in this jurisdiction so that petitioner can collect and transfer the
assets.
7. At the time Decedent executed her will, she stored the original in her top drawer of her
bureau in her home, where her son, Richard G. Keefer, was living and had access to
such, and who has refused to produce the will for probate, although repeatedly
requested to do so by petitioner and petitioner's counsel.
WHEREFORE, petitioner requests that a citation issue directed to Richard G. Keefer to
show cause why he should not produce the last will dated March 16, 1994, of Frances J.
Keefer, Deceased, for probate.
