PETITION FOR TRANSFER OF VENUE
AND NOW, comes Petitioner, Min Gei Sol, by and through his attorney, M. Abbegael
Pacuska, Esquire, and the law firm of Robinson & Geraldo, and hereby files the instant Petition
for Change of Venue and in support thereof avers as follows:
1. Petitioner is Min Gei Sol, an individual who currently resides at 123 Bent Creek
Blvd., Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
2. During the five years prior to the filing of this petition, Petitioner has lived at one
other location, namely, 3819 Chippenham Rd., Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
3. On July 11,2006 a Petition for Change of Name was filed in Dauphin County,
Pennsylvania.
4. Petitioner currently resides, and has resided, in Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania.

5. In light of Petitioner's residence in Cumberland County, no party to this action is
a resident of Dauphin County.
6. In accordance with Rule 1006 (d)(1) of the Rules of Civil Procedure, the Court
may, upon petition of any party, and for the convenience of the parties and
witnesses to the action, transfer an action to an appropriate court of any other
county where the action could have originally been brought.
7. With Petitioner residing in Cumberland County, the Court should transfer venue
of the instant Petition for Change of Name to the Court of Common Pleas of
Cumberland County based on, inter alia, the following:
a.) Cumberland County is the appropriate forum given the fact that the only party
to this action resides therein.
8. Based on the foregoing, the Petitioner, Min Gei Sol, requests the Court to transfer
the action to Cumberland County for adjudication.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner requests the Court to transfer the instant action to Cumberland
County in accordance with Rule 1006 (d)(1) of the Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure.

PETITION FOR CHANGE OF NAME
AND NOW, Petitioner, Min Gei Sol, by his undersigned attorney requests that this
Honorable Court order a change of Petitioner's name, pursuant to 54 Pa. Cons. Stat. ~ 701 et
seq., and in support thereof makes the following avennents:
1. Petitioner was born on November 28, 1986, and is over the age of eighteen.
2. Petitioner currently resides at 123 Bent Creek Blvd., Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
3. During the five years preceding the filing of this petition down to and including the
date thereof, petitioner has resided at 3819 Chippenham Rd., Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
4. There are no judgments or decrees of like character of record against the petitioner.
5. Petitioner requests that his name be changed from Min Gei Sol to Jay Min Sol.

6. The reasons for the requested change of name are the following:
a. Petitioner shares the same first and last name with his older brother; Min Sol.
b. Petitioner will be attending the same University as his older brother in the fall of
2006.
c. The identical names of Petitioner and his brother will cause confusion in grading
and enrollment procedures.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner respectfully requests that this Honorable Court enter an Order
changing his name from Min Gei Sol to Jay Min Sol.
