HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-2298 STIPULATION AGAINST LIENS This Agreement made the ~r'T~ of j~t~/ ,2002 by and between Galbraith/Pre-Desigu, Inc. hc-reinafter ref~l to as Contractor, Carlisle Housing Opportunities Corporation hereinafter referred to as Owner, whereby the foi'iiier undertook and agreed to erect and construct a two story duplex on that certain lot of ground known as: 160-164 W. North Street, Carlisle, PA 17013 NOW THEREFORE, THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: That the said Contractor, for and in consideration of the sum of One and 00/100 Dollar ($1.00) to Contractor in hand paid by Owner, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and thc funhcr consideration mentioned in thc agreemeult aforesaid, for themselves and their subcontractors, and all parties acting through or under them, covenant and agree that no mechanic's liens or claims shall bc filed or maintained by them or any of them against thc said buildings and thc lot of ground appurtenant thereto for or on account of any work done or materials furnished by th~m or any of them under said contract or otherwise, for, towards, in, or about thc erection and construction of thc said buildings on thc lot above described, and the said Contractor, for themselves, their subcontractors and others under them hereby expressly waive and relinquish thc right to have, file, and maintain any mechanic's liens or claims against the said buildings or any of them, and agrec that this in~tniment, waiving the right of lien, shall be an independent covenant.
