JONES, provided he shall survive me. B. In the event my husband, IVOR H. JONES, shall not survive me, I give, devise, and bequeath my entire residuary estate unto my daughter, BARBARA J. MAFFETT of 52 Fairway Drive, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania 17011, in fee simple. C. In the event my daughter, BARBARA J. MAFFETT, of 52 Fairway Drive, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania 17011, shall not survive me, I give, devise, and bequeath my entire residuary estate unto my son-in-law, RICHARD F. MAFFETT, JR., also of 52 Fairway Drive, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania 17011. It is my desire that this bequest shall ~ be used for the benefit of my grandson, RICHARD IVOR MAFFETT or other issue of my daughter, BARBARA J. MAFFETT, but because of my confidence that it will be so used, and in order to avoid the complications of a trust, I do not make a legal requirement of this request. D. In the event that my husband, IVOR H. JONES, and my daughter, BARBARA J. MAFFETT, and my son-in-law, RICHARD F. MAFFETT, JR., shall not survive me, then I give, devise and bequeath my entire residuary estate equally unto my grandson, RICHARD IVOR MAFFETT or other issue of my daughter, BARBARA J. MAFFETT, in fee s~ple, absolute. Provided, however, if my grandson, RICHARD IVOR MAFFETT or other issue of my daughter, BARBARA J. MAFFETT, should be under the age of twenty-five (25) years at the t~e of my death, the entire residue. and remainder of my estate shall be held in trust by the then guardian of my grandson, RICHARD IVOR MAFFETT or other issue of my daughter, BARBARA J. MAFFETT, and my attorney, SIDNEY S. CAMPEN, JR., as Co-Trustees, to hold and to manage the same as they may deem necessary, to be applied toward the general welfare, health, education, maintenance and support of my minor grandchildren according to their accustomed manner of living, and when the youngest of either of my grandson, RICHARD IVOR MAFFETT or other issue of my daughter, BARBARA J. MAFFETT, reaches the age of twenty-five (25) years, my Trustees shall pay over to my grandson and any other issue of my daughter, BARBARA J. MAFFETT, the principal of the trust estate together with any accumulated income, in equal shares, share and share alike. IV. POWERS OF TRUSTEES & PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES (a) In addition to all other powers, authority, duties and discretion granted or imposed by common law, by the Maryland Estates and Trusts Article, Sec. 15-102, or under any rule of court, -2- I expressly authorize and empower my Trustees in their absolute and sole discretion, to do all things they deem advisable or proper in the administration to or the approval of any court and without being restricted as to the character of any investment by any statute or rule or law of court governing the investment and management of trust funds. (b) In addition to all other powers, authority, duties and discretion granted or imposed by common law, by the Maryland Estates and Trusts Article, Sec. 7-401, or under any rule of court, my Personal Representative shall have all the same authority, rights, powers and duties, and discretion which are granted to or imposed upon my Trustees under the provisions of this Will. v. PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES I nominate, constitute, and appoint my daughter, BARBARA J. MAFFETT, of 52 Fairway Drive, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania 17011, and my son-in-law, RICHARD F. MAFFETT, JR., also of 52 Fairway Drive, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania 17011, as Personal Representatives of this my Will and direct that no bond be required of them as such Personal Representatives in any jurisdiction. In the event neither my daughter or son-in-law shall be able to serve as a Personal Representative, I nominate, constitute, and appoint my attorney, SIDNEY S. Mrs. Jones was a resident of Cumberland County at the time of her death; and, as a result, it is necessary to probate her Estate in Cumberland County. Dorothy Jones had a Last Will and Testament, signed May 18, 1988, the original of which is filed with the Talbot County, Maryland Register of Wills office in Easton, Maryland. On October 18, 2006, I contacted the Talbot County, Maryland Register of Wills Office to obtain the original Last Will and Testament of Dorothy J. Jones. I was advised that the original Last Will and Testament could not be obtained directly by me, but would be mailed directly to your office upon my request. As a result, please find enclosed a copy of a letter dated October 25, 2006, to the Talbot County, Maryland Register of Wills Office requesting that the original of Dorothy Jones' Last Will and Testament be mailed to your office. Please notify me when Dorothy Justice Jones' Last Will and Testament has been received in your office so that I can then begin to probate the Estate.
