Dear Ms. Strasbaugh:
On Wednesday November 8, I visited your office by myself to request a short certificate
on the estate of Connie B. Getz, my late wife. I was successful in filling out the forms
and I received the short certificates promptly in the mail. Your office clerks were friendly
but they couldn't help me much. One form asked for the value of property in Cumberland
County owned by Connie. I answered by giving the approximate market value. I later
realized that jointly owned property such as ours need not be included on this form.
Because of my mistake, the cost of the short certificates was $406.00. Had I filled out the
form correctly, the cost would have been much less.
I would like you to review my paperwork and please grant me a refund if you can.
