Re: Estate of Cecelia E. Jacobs
Our File 14650-1
Dear Ms. Strasbaugh:
On behalf ofMr. Melvin L. Jacobs, Jr., surviving spouse of Cecelia E. Jacobs, we presented a
Petition for Letters Testamentary on November 29, 2006. Subsequently, your office informed me
that a question had been raised about the original Will as presented and that the matter would be
referred by your solicitor for review.
We conferred with Mr. Sohonage. While we do not share his concerns, we have decided that
the best method of resolving the question is to request that the Petition for Letters be considered
amended to request Letters of Administration. The result will be the same; all of the decedent's
probate assets will pass to Mr. Jacobs as the surviving spouse, in accordance with the Will presented
and under the intestate laws, as well. There are no children or other heirs who would be affected in
any \-vay.
Please consider this letter as a request that the Petition be amended to request Letters of
Administration.
Very truly yours,
J~UFFIE' STEW ART & WEIDNER
