COMPLAINT
1. Plaintiff is Belco Federal Credit Union, hereinafter referred
to as "BELCO", a Pennsylvania Corporation with an office at
403 N. 2nd Street, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania
17108.
2. Matthew R. Updike, a Defendant, is an adult individual with
an address at 407 Garden Drive, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania 17055.
3. Defendant applied for a L14 loan from Plaintiff pursuant to
the Application dated October 1998 which is available but not
attached because it contains social security numbers and
other personal information.
4. Defendant's delinquent balance on the account is $5,197.71.
5. Because of Defendant's failure to make monthly payments and
in accordance with the standard Security Agreement, a copy
which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and made part
hereof, Defendant owes an attorney commission of $779.66 for
a total of $5,977.37.
6. Defendant also applied for another L14 loan from Plaintiff
pursuant to the Application dated August 2005 which is
available but not attached because it contains social
security numbers and other personal information.
7. Defendant's delinquent balance on the account is $3,051.44.
8. Because of Defendant's failure to make monthly payments and
in accordance with the standard Security Agreement, a copy
which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and made part
hereof, Defendant owes an attorney commission of $457.72 for
a total of $3,509.16.
9. Total due for both accounts is $9,486.53.
10. Defendant has failed and refused to bring his. accounts
current.
11. Defendant is not a member of the Armed Forces of the United
States of America, nor engaged in any way which would bring
him within the Soldiers and Sailors Relief Act of 1940, as
amended.
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff requests entry of judgment against Defendant
in the amount of $9,486.53 together with costs of suit thereon.
