I, ELIZABETH L. KANODE, currently of Upper Allen Township, CUIlll2erland~.
County, Pennsylvania, realizing the uncertainty of this life, but with confidence iti~(Jod an~
trust in His So~ my Lord and Savior, Jesus Clli-ist, who died for my sins upon the cross and-"
rose again to redeem me and give me eteJ,nallife, do hereby make, publish and declare this
to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all prior Wills and Codicils
made by me.
I. I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid from the assets of my
estate as soon as practicable after my demise.
n. I direct that all estate and inheritance taxes that may be assessed in consequence of
my death, shall be paid out of the principal of my general estate to the same effect as if said
taxes were expenses of administration and all property includable in my taxable estate
whether or not passing under this Will shall be free and clear thereof.
III. I intend to keep with this my Will a separate set of instructions concerning
disposition of certain items of tangible personal property. I bequeath the items on said list
to the persons designated.
The remainder of my tangible personalty, I bequeath unto Beulah M. Lyons. If she
predeceases me, this bequest shall pass as part of my residuary estate below.
IV. Any equity that I may have in our cottage at Messiah Village shall remain with the
Village for the benefit of Beulah M. Lyons. If she predeceases me or if there is any equity
left at the time of her death, said equity shall be divided as follows:
A. Fifty percent (50%) to be divided equally among my then surviving
brothers and sisters;
B. Fifty percent (50%) to be divided equally among the then surviving
brothers and sisters of Beulah M. Lyons.

V. All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, of whatever nature and wherever
situate, including property over which I hold a power of appointment, I devise and bequeath
as follows:
A. Ten percent (10%) unto the Jacob Engle Foundation, Grantham,
Pennsylvania, for the charitable purposes I intend to outline to it by way of
separate instructions.
B. Ninety percent (90%) equally unto my brothers and sisters who
survive me. It is my desire that my antique furniture be kept in the family as
part of this residuary portion of my estate.
VI. I appoint my sister, Alice P. Heisey, Executrix of this my Will. In the event that
she fails to qualify or ceases to act as Executrix, I appoint my sister, Lois Smith, Executrix,
of this my Will.
VII. I direct that no bond be required of my fiduciaries for the faithful performance of
their duties in any jurisdiction.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I, ELIZABETH L. KANODE, herewith set my hand to
this my Last Will, typewritten on two (2 ) sheets of paper including the attestation clause and
signatures of witnesses, this 23rd day of January, 1996.

CODICIL TO LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

ELIZABETHT L KANODE
I, Elizabeth L Kanode, residing at Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg, in the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, do make and declare this Codicil be added to my
will heretofore dated the 23rd day of January, 1996.
ITEM 1: I direct the payment of my just debts and any funeral expenses as
soon as conveniently possible following my decease.
ITEM 2 : I give and bequeath any and all of my remaining money in my personal
checkings accounts to Beulah Lyons residing at Messiah Village. If Beulah is deceased,
it shall be divided among my living sisters.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have set my hand and seal this 13th day of January
2005.
