Dear Ms. Strasbaugh:
I represent the Estate of Brenda H. Wilding. Enclosed is a
check made payable to the Register of wills in the amount of
$37,293.33, same constituting a prepayment at discount on account
of Pennsylvania inheritance taxes in the above-captioned estate.
The prepayment is determined as follows: $26,500.00 multiplied
by 15% or $3,975.00, plus $784,025.18 multiplied by 4.5% or
$35,281.13 which totals $39,256.13, less discount in the amount
of 5% or $1,962.81, resulting in payment of $37,293.33. Please
provide me with the appropriate receipt in this matter.
