The defendant, Mark George, is an individuai residing at 61B W, Louther St. Carlisle, Cumberland County, Penna. i70l3. 3. On July 23, 1993, the plaintiff wa. the owner of a 1991 Toyota Pickup 4. At or about 2130 P.M. on t.he aforesaid date, the plaintiff was operating the said Toyot.a in a southern direction on Claremont Drive in Middlesex Township, Cumberland County, Penna. 5. At the same time and place, the defendant was operating a 19B4 Chevrolet Cavalier in a western direction on Pa, Route 641 approachinq the intersection of Route 641 and Claremont Dr. in Middle.ex Township, Cumberland County, fenna. 6. The defendant was travelling at a high rate of speed a. he approached the intereection and he collided with the plaintiff, 7. The collision was causod by the nogligence of the defendant in the following respects: a. b. manner. In travelling well in excess of the speed limit. In failing to operate his vehicle in a safe and prudent c. In failing to approach an intersection at a safe speed, which would enable him to stop hiB vehicle, if necessary. B. As a reBul t of the negligence of the defendant, the plaintiff sustained $2,733.43 in damages to her said Toyota, a. ie more fully set forth in the attached Exhibit A. WHEREFORE, the plaintiff claims of the defendanta a surn of $2,733,43, an amount requiring compulsory referral to arbitration under the local rules of court.
