YoAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
OF
DONALD A. BECHTEL
I, DONALD A. BECHTEL, of Lower Allen Township, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, do hereby make, publish, and declare this
to be my last Will and hereby revoke all Wills and Codicils
previously made by me.
ITEM I. I direct my executrix, hereinafter named, to pay all
of my legal debts and funeral expenses and the administrative
expenses of my estate as soon as practicable after my death.
ITEM II. I give und bequeath all my automobiles, jewelry,
wearing apparel, books, pictures, household furniture and
furnishings, and all other articles of household and personal use
or adornment, together with any insurance e~isting thereon, to my
beloved wife, AUDREY E. BECHTEL, if she survives mel but, if she
predeceases me, then to my beloved children, SANDRA LYNN BECHTEL
and LESLIE ELLEN BECHTEL, to be divided among them as they shall
see fit, but if said children fail to agree upon such division
within a period of two (2) months after my death, then the items
shall be sold, and the proceeds therefrom shall be added to,
become a part of, and administered with my residuary estate as
hereinafter set forth.
ITEM III. All the rest, residue, and remainder of my prop-
erty and estate of every kind and nature wheresoever situate,
including all lapsed legacies and bequests, and including any
property over which 1 may have a power of appointment at the time
of my death, I give, devise and bequeath as follows:
A. If my beloved wife, AUDREY E. BECHTEL, survives me, to
her absolutely and forever.
B. If my beloved wife, AUDREY E. BECHTEL, predeceases me,
one-half thereof to my beloved daughter, SANDRA LYNN BECHTEL, or

if she is not then living to issue per stirpes, and remain
one-half thereof to my beloved daughter, LESLIE ELLEN BECHTEL, or
if she is not then living to issue per stirpes. In the event
that a daughter of mine shall predecaasc me without issue her
surviving, her share shall be distributed to my other surviving
daughter, or if such surviving d&ughter is not then living, to
issue per stirpes.
C. If my beloved wife and my beloved daughters all
predecease me without issue, then as followsl
1. One-fourth thereof to The Nora Shuler Helffedch
Scholarship, Ursinus College, Collegeville, Pennsylvania,
to be administered by the Board of Directors of Ursinus College/

living, the share to which they would otherwise be entitled shall
be paid to The General Endowment Fund of Ursinus College,
Collegeville, Pennsylvania, to be administered by the Board of
Directors of said college.

ITEM IV. All estate, inheritance, legacy, succession,
transfer taxes, including any interest or penal ties thereon
imposed by any domestic or foreign law with respect to all prop-
erty taxable under such laws by reason of my death, whether or not
such property passes under this Will, by operation of law, by
contract or otherwise, shall be paid from my estate as a part of
the expenses of administration thereof without any right of
reimbursement from any recipient of any such property, without any
right of apportionment and without postponement.
ITEM V. Although my wife and I are executing our Wills at
or about the same time, they are not intended to be and shall not
be construed as being contractual even though they are reciprocal.
Each may be revoked by its maker.
ITEM VI. In the event that my wife and I die simultaneously
or under such circumstances as to render it difficult or impos-
sible to determine who predeceased the other, it shall be con-
clusively presumed for all purposes of my Will and all of its
provisions that my wife predeceased me.
fTEM VII. Should any person entitled to a share of my estate
be a minor, at the time of distribution to him or her and should
the value of any such property be more than the amount which may
be paid or delivered to him or her or in his or her behalf without
the appointment of a guardian or other fiduciary, or the delivery
of security, such shares shall he paid and distributed to my
trustee hereinafter nam~d to be held, IN TRUST, and managed,
invested, and reinvested, together with the accumulation of income
thereon, and the trustees shall use and apply from time to time
such portion of the income and principal thereof as it deems
necessary or desirable for the minor's reasonable maintenance,
support and complete education, including preparatory, college,
post-graduate, or professional training, and to make payments

for such purposes to the guardian or person with whom such minor
resides dir.ectly to or for the benefit of such minor without
further responsibility to such minor or any person taking care of
such minor, and when such minor attains the age of 21 years, any
income or principal not so paid or applied shall be distributed to
such minor or if he or she dies prior thereto, to his or her
personal representative.
ITEM VIII~ In addition to the powers granted by law, my
executrix and my trustee shall have the following powers exer-
cisab1e in her or its sole and absolute discretion with respect to
both principal and accumulated income and such power shall con-
tinue until distribution is actually made:
A. To retain any o~ all of the assets in my estate, real or
personal, without regard to any principle of diversification,
risk, or productivity.
B. To sell at public or private sale, to exchange, to lease,
to pledge, to mortgage, to transfer, or convert or otherwise
dispose of, or grant options with respect to any and all property,

Kenneth E. f1arte and Viola L. f1arte, his wife, or the eurvivor of

shall be dictributed to The General Endowment Fund of Ureinus
COllege, Collegeville, Penneylvania, to be adminietered by the

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
OF
DONALD A. BECHTEL
I, DONALD A. BECHTEL, of Lower Allen Township, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, do hereby make, publish, and declare this
to be my last Will and hereby revoke all Wills and Codicils
previously made by me.
ITEM I. I direct my executrix, hereinafter named, to pay all
of my legal debts and funeral expenses and the administrative
expenses of my estate as eoon as practioable after my death.
ITEM II. I give and bequeath all my automobiles, jewelry,
wearing apparel, b~oks, pictures, household furniture and
furnishings, and all other articles of household and personal use
or adornmen~, togethAr with any insurance existing thereon, to my
beloved wife, AUDREY E. BECHT~L, if she survJves mel but, if ehe
pl'edeceases me, then to my beloved children, SANDRA LYNN BECHTEL
and LESLIE ELLEN BECHTEL, to be divided among them as they ehall
see fit, but if said children fail to agree upon such division
within a period of two (2) months after my death, then the items
shall be sold, and the proceede therefro~ shall be added to,
become a part of, and administered with my residuary estate ae
hereinafter sst forth.
ITEM III, All the rest, residue, and remainder of my prop-
erty and estate of every kind and nature wheresoever situate,
including all lapsed legacies and bequests, and including any
property over which I may hav~a power of appointment at the time
of my death, I give, devise and bequeath as follows I
A. If my beloved wife, AUDREY E. BECHTEL, survives me, to
hsr absolutely and forevsr.
B. If my boloved Wife, AUDREY E. BECHTEL, predeceases me,
one-half thereof to my beloved daughter, SANDRA LYNN BECHTEL, or

Scholarship, Ursinus College, Collegeville, Pennsylvania,
to bs administered by the Board of Directors of Ursinuo College,
2. One-fourth thereof to the Board of Directors of
Ursinus College, Collegeville, Pennsylvania, to establish a fUnd
known as The Helen Garrett Scholarship Fund for the Study of
Romance Languages, the inoome or principal or both to be used for
high soholarships for students to stUdy romanoe languages,
3. One-fourth thereof to be divided equally between
Kenneth E. Harte and Viola L. Harte, his wife, or the survivor of
them, parents of Audrey Eo Beohtel, hut if neither of them are
then liVing, said share to which they would otherwise be entitled
shall be distributed to The General Endowment Fund of Ursinus
College, Collegeville, Pennsylvania, to be administered by the
Board of Directors of said college, and,
4. The remaining one-fourth thereof to Lester A.
Beohtel and Hslen L. Bechtel, his wife, or the survivor of them,
parsnts of Donald A. Bechtel, but if neither of them is then
living, the share to which they would otherwise be entitled shall
be paid to The General Endowment Fund of Ursinue College,
Collegeville, Pennsylvania, to be administered by the Board of
Directors of said college.

ITEM IV. All ostate, inheritance, legacy, succession,
transfer tsxes, including any interest or penalties thereun
imposed by any domeetio or foreign law with respect to all prop-
erty taxable under such lawa by reason of my death, whether or not
luoh property passee under this Win, by opsration of law, by
contract or otherwise, shall be paid from my estate as a part of
the expenses of administration thereof without any right of
reimbur.ement from any reoipient of any suoh property, without any
right of apportionment and without postponement.
ITEM V, Although my wife and I are executing our Wills at
or about the same time, they are not intended to be and shall not
be construed as being contractual even though they are reciprooal.
Each may be revoked by its maker.
ITEM VI. In the svent that my wife and I die simultansously
or under suoh circumstances as to render it difficult or impos-
sible to determine who predeceased the other, it shall be con-
clusively presumed for all purposes of my Will and all of its
provisions that my wife predeceased me.
ITEM VII, Should any pelson entitled to a share of my estate
be a minor, at the tims of distribution to him or her and should
the value of any suoh propertJ be more than the amount whioh may
be paid or delivered to him or her or in his or her behalf witnout
the appointment of a g\\ardian or other fiduciary, or the delivery
of security, euch shares shall be paid and distributed to my
trustee hersinafter named to be held, IN TRUST, and managed,
invested, and reinvested, together with the accumulation of income
thereon, and the trustees shall use and apply from time to time
such por~ion of the income and principal thereof as it deems
necessary or desirable for the minor's reasonable maintenanos,
support and complete sducation, including preparatory, oollege,
post-graduate, or professional training, and to make payments

for such purposes to ths guardian or person with whom such minor
resides directly to or for the benefit of such minor without

luch minor or if he or she dies prior thereto, to his or her
pereonal representative.
lTEH VIII. In addition to the powers granted by law, my
executrix and my trustee shall have the following powers exer-
cisable in her or ite sole and absolute discretion with respect to
both principal and accumulated income and such power Shdll con-
tinue until distribution is actually madel
A. To retain any or all of the assets in my estate, real or
personal, without regard to any principle of diversification,
riSK, or productivity.
B. To sell at public or private sale, to exchange, to lease,
to pledge, to mortgage, to transfer, or convert or otherwise
diepose of, or grant options with respect to any and all property,
real or personal, at any time forming a part of my probate or
trust estate, in such manner, at such time or times, for such
purp01es, for such price or prices, and upon such terms, cr~dits,
and conditions as shall be deemed advisable or necessary under the
circumstances.
C. To invest of all forms of property, without bdng Umi ted
to legal investments.
D. To compromise any claim or controversy.
ITEM IX. I nominate and appoint my beloved Wife, AUDREY E.
BECHTEL, as the sole executrix of this my Will, but in the event'
that she predeoeases me, fails to qualify, or ceases to act, I
no~inate and appoint SANDRA LYNN BECHTEL, aa the sole exeoutrix
