and understanding, do hereby make, publish and declare this as
and for my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all
other wills and codicils heretofore made by me.
FIRST, I direct that all my just debts and funeral expense
be paid from my estate as soon after my death as practically and
conveniently may be done,
SECOND, I direct that my remains be interred beside my
beloved husband, Carl L, Haffly, in our family ceme tery plot or
in a place of our choosing,
THIRD, I authorize my personal representative to expend
funds from my estate in such amounts as my personal represcntati e
shall consider necessary and desirable, for the purchase, erecti
and inscription of a suitable marker for my grave,
FOURTH, I give, devise and bequeath all personal property
owned by me at the time of my death unto my dear husband, Carl
L. Haffly, provided that he survives me by thirty (30) days, In
the event that he should fail to survive me by thirty (30) days,
then all such personal property shall be divided equally in six
(6) shares to our dear children, per stirpes, the children being
as follows: Narlene K. Grove, Carl II. Haffly, Doris Jean Trayer,

DECREE
NOW this 13th day of January/ 1995, the within petition having
been presented, read, and oonsidered, it is hereby deoreed that
Farmers Trust Company is hereby directed to release any and all
funds in the decedents name/ unto the Petitioner Marlene K.
Grove. All personal property of Ethel K. Haffley, deceased,
shall be distributed to the persons entitled thereto as set
forth in the within petition, and upon completion of such
distribution Marlene K. Grove is discharged as Executrix of the
estate of the aforosaid decedent.

To the Honorable Judge of the said Court:
The petition of Marlene K. Grove, Exeoutrix of the estate
of Ethel K. Haffley, resp~otfully represents:
1. Your petitioner is Marlene K. Grove, who is related to
Ethel K. Haffley, deoeased, and has the follol"ing interest in
the assets that would comprise the estate of Ethel K. Haffley:
2. Ethel K. Haffley died testate on January 6, 1994 at
Carlisle, cumberland County, Pennsylvania, a copy of her will
is hereto attaohed and at the time of death the deoedent's last
prinoipal residenoe was 116 N. Bedford Street, Carlisle,
Cumberland county, pennsylvania.
3. The deoedent was not survived by any persons entitled
to claim the family exemption under 20 Pa.C.S.A. seotion 3121.
4. The total value of the decedent's personal estate is
less than $10,000.00 and oonsists of the following assets whioh
have the following value:

and the amount of tax due upon the decedent's estate has been

I, Ethel K, Haffly of the Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, being of sound and disposing mind, memory
and understanding, do hereby make, publish and declare this as
and for my Last lVill and Testament, hereby revoking any and all
other wills and codicils heretofore made by me.
FIRST, I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses
be paid from my estate as soon after my death as practically and
conveniently may be done,
SECOND. I direct that my remains be interred beside my
beloved husband, Carl L. Ilaffly, in our family cemetery plot or
in a place of our choosing,
THIRD, I authorize my personal representative to expend
funds from my estate in such amounts as my personal representati~e
shall consider necessary and desirable, for the purchase, erecti
and inscription of a suitable marker for my grave,
FOURTH. I give, devise and bequeath all personal property
owned by me at the time of my death unto my dear husband, Carl
L, Haffly, provided that he survives me by thirty (30) days. In
the event that he should fail to survive me by thirty (30) days,
then all such personal property shall be divided equally in six
(6) shares to our dear children, per stirpes, the children being
as follows: ~larlene K, Grove, Carl I!. Ilaffly, Doris Jean Trayer,
Frank Charles Haffly, lVilliam Harold Ilaffly and Georganna l1arie
Rupp.
FIFTH, I give, devise and bequeath all real es tate owned
by me at the time of my death unto my dear husband, Carl L.
Haffly, provided he survives me by thirty (30) days. In the
event that he fails to survive me by thirty (30) days, then
all such real estate shall pass to our six (6) children as
enumerated above, per stirpes. ~
SIXTH. I direct that any and all Inheritance, Estate and
Transfer taxes, imposed upon my estate, passing under my Will or
otherwise, shall be paid out of the principal of my estate.

SEVENTH, I give, devise and bequeath all of the rest,
residue and remainder of my estate unto n~ dear husband, Carl
L. Haffly, provided he survives me by thirty (30) days. In the
event he fails to survive me by thirty (30) days, all of the
rest, residue and remainder of my estate shall pass to my dear
children, Marlene, Carl, Doris, Frank, lUlliam and Georganna,
per stirpes, to share and share alike.
EIGHTH. I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my
daughter, Marlene K, Grove of New Kingstown, Pennsylvania, as
Executrix of this, my Last Will and Testament, I hereby relieve
my Executrix from posting security in connection with her duties,
as such, in any jurisdiction in which she may be called upon to
act, insofar as I am able by law to do so.
NINTH. In addition to the powers conferred by law, I autho ize
my Executrix in her absolute discretion, to retain in the form
received, and to sell either at public or private sale, any real
or personal property owned by me at the time of my death.
IN WITNESS lmEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal to
this, my Last Will and Testament, consisting of t\~O (2) type\~rit en
pages, the first of which bears my sign~ture in the margin for
the purpose of identification this ~day of January, 1984.
