COMPLAINT
1. plaintiff Farmers Bank and Trust company of Hanover i.
. bankin9 oorporation with its principal place of busin.s.
located at 1,3 Baltimore street, Hanover, Pennsylvania 17331.
2. Defendant J. Michael Adler is an adult individual, with
an office at 1442 Trindle Road, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013.
3. On or about July 15, 1988, the Defendant, for 900d and
valuable consideration made, exeouted and delivered a Bond to
Plaintiff in the principal sum of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand
($280,000). A true and correot copy of said Bond is attaohed
hereto, made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "A".
4. The Bond referred to in paragraph 3 above has not been
a..i9ned by Plaintiff to any person or organization.
8. Jud9ment has not been entered on the Bond referred to
in Para9raph 3 above in any jurisdiction.
6. The Bond provides that plaintiff may oonfess jud9ment
a9ain.t Defendant for the aforesaid prinoipal sum, with interest

and any other paymente and oharqes whioh should have been paid by
the Defendant, and with oosts of suit.
7. Defendant has tailed to pay and perform all obliqations
in favor ot Plaintiff.
8. The prinoipal amount due on tho Bond i~ One Hundred
sixty Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Two Dollars and Fifty One Cents
('160,292.~1). Aoorued interest to Fobruary 16, 1994 amounts to
$2,616.20. Aoorued late oharges to February 16, 1994, amounts to
$2,741.43.
9. Plaintiff has been advised and, therefore, avers that
Detendant exeouted the Bond referred to in Paragraph 3 above for
business purposes.
10. Plaintiff has been advised and, therefore, avere that
Def.ndant's income exoeeds $10,000.
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff demands judgment against Defendant in
the sum of $165,650.14, together with interest on the prinoipal
sum of $160,292.51 at $28.94 per day from February 17, 1994, and
oost~ of suit.
