againet the Defendant Irene M. Dawson, whereof the following ie a
8tatement.

The Plaintiff is Eastern Family Finance Corporation, a finance
corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of. Maryland
with a principal office at Capital City Plaza, 3401 Hartzdale Drive,
Suite 126, Camp Hill, PA
17011.

Defendant, Irene M. Dawson, is an adult individual residing at
1975 Randall Road, Enola, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 1702~.

On or about June 20, 1991, the Defe~dant, Irene M. Dawacn, with her
hUlband, Thcmas ^. Dawson, made, executed, and delivered to the Plaintiff
a Mortgage Note in the 8um of $58,607.67 payable to the order of the
Plaintiff in monthly installments, a true and correct copy of which Note

i. attllched hereto, made a part hereof, marked Ixhibit "A" and
incorporat.d harein by reference.

At the Borne Ume, on or about June 20, 1991, the Defendant, lrene M.
DawBon, along with her hUBband, Thomas A.. Dawson, made, exeouted, and
delivared to the Plaintiff a oertain Mortgage whereby Defendant.
obligation to Plaintiff pur8uant to the above mentioned Mortgage Note waB
Becur8d by oertain real estate in Hampden Township, Cumberland County,

I Pennsylvania, whioh Mortgage was recorded on June 24, 1991 in the Office

of the Reoorder of Deeds in and for Cumberland County, Pennlylvania, in
Mortgage Book 1018 at Page 511, a oopy of whioh Mortgage 18 attaohed
hereto, marked Exhibit "B", and inoorporated herein by reference.

In November, 1993, Thomas A. Dawson died, whereby all right, title
and interest in and to the real estate seouring the Mortgage obligation
ve8ted by operation of law in the Defendant, Irene M. Daw80n.

Having delivered the 8aid Mortgage Note and Mortgage to the
Plaintiff, the Defendant is liable for the paymsnt8 oalled for therein in
aooordance with the term8 therein.

The Defendant is in default under the telms of the Mortgage Note and
Mortgage to the Plaintiff by virtue of the failure of the Defendants to
make the payments due under the torms of the Mortgage Note and Mortgage on
a timely bali8 since Ootober 26, 1993.

The Defendant wa. .ent a Notioe of Intention to "oreoloee in
oomplianoe with the provieionu of Aot 6, 41 P.B. Seotion 403, by oertified
meil on January 11, 1994, whioh Notioe wa. received by the Defendant on
Jenuary U, 1994. A true and oorrect copy of the Not:l.ce i. attaohed
hereto, marked Exhibit "c" and is hereby made a part of and inoorporated
herein by reference.

On January 11, 1994, Plaintiff, by its attorneys, sent the Notice
required by the Homeowners Emergency Mortgage AS8istance Act of 1983
(Act 91) by oertified mail, which Notice was received by Defendant on
January U, 1994.
Thirty (30) days have expired and Plaintiff has
received no response from the Defendant or the Consumer Credit Counseling
Agency set forth in said Notice to Defendant.
