SHOLLENBERGER, and does respectfully represent the following I 1. Plaintiff, PATRICIA A. POPE, is an adult individual wh~ currently resides at 1513'South 12th Street, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. 2. Defendant, CUC THU NGO, is an adult individual whose last known address is 2142 North 6th Street, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. 3. The facts and circumstances hereinafter set forth took place on October 7, 1993 at or about 5155 p.m. in the 2700 block of the Camp Hill Bypass, camp Hill, cumberland County, Pennsylvania. , , 4. At th~ aforesaid time and place, Defendant, CUC THU NOO, was operating a 1991 ~l~nQuth Van in the right, westbound lane of the Camp Hill Bypass. 6. At the aforesaid time and place, Defendant, CUC THU NGO, failed to bring her vehicle to a stop and collided with the rear of Plaintiff's vehicle, causing the Plaintiff's vehicle to be pushed forward into a 1987 Dodge Shadow being operated by william Strcuse, III. 7. The aforesaid coll~sion was the direct and proximate result of the negligence of Defendant, CUC THt1 NOO, in operating her vehicle in a careless, reckless and negligent manner as followsl a. In failing to have her vehicle under proper and adequate control, b. In failing to operate her vehicle at such a speed and in a manner so as to be able to stop within the assured clear distance ahead in violation of 53361 of the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code, c. In failing to apply her brakes in time to avoid a collision, d. As a direct and proximate result of this collision, Plaintiff, PATRICIA POPE, has suffered serious and permanent injuries including but not limited to, a. Severe strain and spraJ.n of the nluscloes, tendons, ligaments and other soft tissues at or about the lumbar ~pinQ; b, Severe' strain- and sprain of the muscles, tendons, ligaments and ot~er soft tissues at or about the cervical spinel c. Left sacx'oiliac syndrome; d, Left knee bruise; e. Chest bruise; f. Severe strain of the nerves and nervous system; g, Extreme mental and physical anguish, 9.
