COMPLAINT I'OR CUSTODY
1. The plaintiff is Stephen McCarren, who resides at
270 Meadows Road, Newville, cumberland County, Pennsylvania,
2. Defendant is Martha Elvin, who resides at 335 York
Road, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
3. Plaintiff seeks shared legal custody and partial
physical custody of the following child:
Molly Elvin, born February 4, 1994
The child was born out of wedlock.
Since birth, the child has lived with Martha Elvin
at 335 York Road, Carlisle, PA.
The mother of the child is Martha Elvin who lives
at the above stated address.
She is not married.
stephen McCarren is alleged to be the father of
the child.
He is married.
4. The relationship of plaintiff to the child is that
of alleged father.
5. The relationship of defendant to the child is that
of mother.
6. Plaintiff has not participated as a party or
witness, or in another capacity, in other litigation

concerning the custody of the child in this or another
court,
Plaintiff has no information of a custody
proceeding concerning the child pending in a court of this
COlDlllonwealth.
Plaintiff does not know of a person not a party to
the proceedings who has physical custody of the child or
claims to have custody or visitation rights with respect to
the child.
7, The best interest and permanent welfare of the
child will be served by granting the relief requested
because the child should have a close and continuing
relationship with both parents.
8. Each parent whose parental rights to the child have
not terminated and the person who has physical custody of
the child have been named as parties to this action.
WHEREFORE, plaintiff requests the court to grant shared
legal custody and partial physical custody.
