The Plaintiffs are AUS Consultants Utility Services Group Weber Pick & Wilson Division (hereinafter known as "AUS"), whose address is 1000 North Front Street, Wormleysburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17043. 2. The Defendant, Public Service Water Company, the Plaintiff believes and therefore avers is a Pennsylvania corporation (hereinafter known as "Public Service"), whose address is Post Office Box 149, Hawley, Wayne County, Pennsylvania 18428-0149. 3. The Defendant, MPW Utilities, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "MPW"), the Plaintiff believes and therefore avers is an operating company for the purposes of complying with the regulations and requirements of the Pennsylvania Utility Public Commission and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Defendant, Public Service Water Company, whose address is Post Office Box 64 Greentown, Pike County, PA 18426. COUN'l' I AUB n. PUBLIC BIlRVICB 1tA2'JI'R COIIPANr AND IIPtI 4. The Plaintiff herein incorporates the provisions of paragraph 1 through 3 above as if set out in full herein. 5. Beginning on or about December 28, 1992 through May 30, 1993, the Plaintiffs were contacted by the Defendant Public Service on its behalf and on behalf of its operating company MPW and was requested to perform various services for the account of Public Service and MPW which included preparing data as part of an application for rate increases before the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (hereinafter referred to as the PUC) and for which the Defendant Public Service has only paid a portion of its charges (see attached Plaintiff's Exhibits "A"). 6. The Plaintiff performed all of the services requested by the Defendant in a workman like manner including testifying before the PUC. 7. Partially, as a result of the services performed by the Plaintiff, the Defendants were granted a rate increase by the PUC. 8. As a result of the services performed by the Plaintiff, the Plaintiff is owed its reasonable fees in the amount of $17,220.72 (see Plaintiff's Exhibit "A"). 9. On or about March 5, 1993 the Plaintiff notified the Defendants that they would be Charging the Defendants interest on any outstanding bills at the credit card rate of interest. ""''''. ,~,";,,'...... this notification, the Defendants failed to protest this agreement in any way, and therefore, the Plaintiff believes and therefore avers that the Defendants agreed to pay interest on the outstanding debt at the credit card rate. At the present time the Defendants are indebted to the Plaintiff in the amount of $2,158.66.
