Myers, by and through his attorneys, Saidis, Guido, Shuff & Masland and respectfully avers the following: 1. The Plaintiff is David E. Myers, an adult individual who resides at 116 West Springville Road, Boiling springs, PA 17007. 2. The Defendant is Jackie McClure, an adult individual who resides at 210 Adams Road, Carlisle, PA 17013. 3. On or about september 29, 1993, the plaintiff and the Defendant purchased a 1988 Chevrolet Corsica from the Auto Drive used car lot in Carlisle, Pennsylvania for the sum of One Thousand Nine Hundred Eighteen and 00/100 ($1,918.00) Dollars. 4. This car was purchased for the use by the Defendant, and was titled in her name alone. 5. Because the Defendant had a poor credit rating, the Plaintiff agreed to help her finance the vehicle in his name, and thus he took out a loan through Dauphin Deposit Trust Company. 6. In order to finance this car, the Plaintiff borrowed the sum of Two Thousand and 00/100 ($2,000.00) Dollars, which loan was co-signed by the Plaintiff's parents, Ronald Myers and . Virginia Myers, his wife. 7. The parties agreed that while the Plaintiff was to make the payments to Dauphin Deposit Bank, the Defendant was to make payments directly to the Plaintiff for the purchase of the car in the amount of One Hundred and 00/100 ($100.00) Dollars per month at 0% interest until the car was paid in full. 8. Further, the Plaintiff also paid for some engine work and body repair done to the vehicle for which he was to be reimbursed by the Defendant in the sum of Two Hundred and 00/100 ($200.00) Dollars. 9. Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, the Defendant made one payment of One Hundred and 00/100 ($100.00) Dollars directly to the Plaintiff. 10. The Defendant defaulted under the terms of said loan by failing to make subsequent monthly installments of One Hundred and 00/100 ($100.00) Dollars. 11. Despite repeated demands, the Defendant has neither kept up her payments of One Hundred and 00/100 ($100.00) Dollars, nor has returned to return the car to the Plaintiff. 12.
