sub.contractors and materialmen, and all parties acting through or under him, covenants and agrees that no
mechanics' claims or liens shall be filed or maintained by him, Ihem or any olthem against the said building
and the lot of ground appurtenant thereto, or any of Ihem. for, or on account of any work or materials
lurnlshed by him, them, or any of them, under said cotract 01 otherwise, 10r,toward,ln or about tho erection
and construction of the said buildings, or any of Ihern, and the said Contraclor, for hlmsell and his sub.
contraclors and materialmen and others under him, hereby expresslywalves and relinquishes the right to
havo, file or maintain any mechanic's lien or claim against Ihe said buildings, or any of them, and agrees that
this agreement waiving the right 01 lien shall be an Independent covenant.
