The Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, hereby files its claim
against T. Gregory Thorson and Cherlene J. Thorson and all that certain lot or
piece of ground situated in the Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania,
being known as 507 N. Bedford Street and having thereon erected a house. (See
property description attached.)
For Curb and sidewalk repairs for 507 N. Bedford Street together with an
additional ten percent (10%) and $90.00 solicitor filing fee for a total of $133.23,
together with interest sec. le.q. from June 30, 2001, the date of completion of the
work.
Prior notice in accordance with law was served upon the owner by first class United
States certified mail, postage prepaid, at the owner's address at 507 N Bedford Street
in Carlisle, PA 17013 on May 30, 2002. The said services were provided by the
Borough of Carlisle and the charge levied therefor in strict accordance with Article XVIII
of the Borough Code, Act of February 1, 1966, P.L. 1655 (1965), No. 581, Section 1801
et. seq., 53 P.S. Section 46801 et seq., Ordinance 145-C, Article II of Chapter 120,
and/or Article V of Chapter 223 of the Code of the Borough of Carlisle.

acknowIedged, has granted bargained, sold and conveyed and does hereby grant, bargain, sell and

Armstrong, now of Herman Zimmerman, on the East by an alley, and on the South by lot now or
formerly &Rea Goodhan, containing 33 feet and 3 inches in front on said Bedford Street and
extending in depth an even width, 150 feet to the said alley on the East, and known as 507
Bedford Street.

BEGINNING at an iron pin in
iron pin is North 29 degrees 43 minutes East 78.03 feet fi.om a certain railroad spike being 30 feet
at right angles fi.om the the southeastern line of North Bedford Street, which said
centerline &the Cumberland Valley Branch &The Pennsylvania Railroad
Company; thence along said line of North Bedford Street, North 29 degrees 43 minutes East
18.07 feet to a point at the line of lands now or formerly &Nellie M. Diller and Lawrence L.
Diller, her husband; thence South 60 degrees 17 minutes East along said land 150.5 t~et to the
line of a 16 foot alley; thence along the line &said alley, South 29 degrees 43 minutes West 10
feet to an iron pin; thence along property now or formerly of Nellie M. Diller and Lawrence L.
Diller, her husband, of which the premises herein conveyed were a part, North 63 degrees 21
minutes West 150.71 feet to an iron pin, the Place of BEGINNING.
BEING known as 507 North Bedford Street, Carlisle.

BEING the same premises which Nellie M. Diller and Lawrence L. DJller, her husband,
granted and conveyed to Floyd R. Wagner and Martha p. Wagner, his wife, by their deed dated
June 25, 1964 and recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds for Cumberland County in
Deed Book "G", Volume 21, Page 304.
Floyd R. Wagner died on Hay 12 th, 1981, whereupon Title became vested in fee
simple in Martba p. Wagner.
Martha p. Wagner died July 16, 1994.
TOGETHER with all and singUar the rights liberties, privleges, hereditaments and
appurtenances wlatsoever thereunto be onglng or n anywise appertaining, and the reversions and
remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and all the estate, right, title interest, property, claim
and demand whatsoever of the said Estate ofMartha p. Wagner at and immediately before the
time of her decease, in law or equity or otherwise howsoever, of, in, to or out of the same:

Cherlene J. Thorson, bis wife, their heirs and assigns forever.
And the said party of the first part does covenant, promise, grant and agree, to and with the said
parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns, by these presents, that he the said party of the
first part not done, Committed or knowingly or willingly suffered to be done, any act, matter, or
thing whatsoever, whereby the premises aforesaid, or any part'hereof, is, are, shall or may be
charged or incumbered, in title, charge or estate, or otherwise howsoever.
