MUNICIPAL LIEN FOR (CURB) (SIDEWALK) REPAIRS
The Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, hereby files its claim
against Charles E. Coleman and ail that certain lot or piece of ground situated in the
Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, being known as 8,52 Hamilton
Street and having thereon erected a house. (See property description attached.)
For Curb and sidewalk repairs for 852 Hamilton Street together with an
additional ten percent (10%) and $90.00 solicitor filing fee for a total of $ 613.94,
together with interest sec. le,q. from July 31, 2001, the date of completion of the
work.
Prior notice in accordance with law was served upon the owner by first class United
States certified mail, postage prepaid, at the owner's address at 852 Hamilton Street in
Carlisle, PA 17013 on May 30, 2002. The said services were provided by the Borough
of Carlisle and the charge levied therefor in strict accordance with Article XVIII of the
Borough Code, Act of February 1, 1966, P.L. 1655 (1965), No. 581, Section 1801 et~
seq., 53 P.S. Section 46801 et seq., Ordinance 145-C, Article II of Chapter 120,
and/or Article V of Chapter 223 of the Code of the Borough of Carlisle.

of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, hereinafter celled Grantors,
AND CHARLES E. COLEMAN, of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania,
hereinafter called Grantee:
WlTNESSETH, that in consideration of the sum of Ninety-three Thousand Five
Hundred and no/100 ($93,500.00) Dollars, in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, the grantors do hereby grant and convey unto the grantee, his heirs and
assigns,
ALL that certain tract of land with improvements thereon situate in the Fifth Ward
of the Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, bounded and described
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point at the northwestern corner of Hamilton Street and
Charles Street as the same appears on the hereinafter mentioned plan of lots; thence
along the northern line of Hamilton Street, South 63 degrees 03 minutes West, a
distance of 44.80 feet to a point; thence along the same by a curve to the left having a
radius of 170 feet, an am distance of 50 feet to a point; thence along land now or
formerly of Carroll E. Myers and wife, North 30 degrees 16 minutes West, a distance of
117.01 feet to a point; thence along land now or formerly of C.W. Anderson and wife,
North 75 degrees 58 minutes 50 seconds East, a distance of 111.61 feet to a point on
the western line of Charles Street; thence along the line of Charles Street, South 15
degrees 22 minutes 40 seconds East, a distance of 17 feet to a point; thence along the

curve to the left having a radius of 227.37 feet, an arc distance of 45.92 feet to a point;
thence still along the same, South 26 degrees 57 minutes East, a distance of 22.75 feet
to a point at the northwestern corner of Charles Street and Hamilton Street, the Place
of BEGINNING.
BEING all of Lot No. 12 and a portion of Lot No. 13 of Block 'D" in the Plan of a
Portion of Hamilton Development as recorded in the Cumberland County Recorder of
Deeds Office in Plan Book 11, Page 36.
HAVING erected thereon a dwelling known as 852 Hamilton Street, Carlisle,
Pennsylvania 17013.
BEING the same property which PHAP KT TRAN and MAI THI TRAN, formerly
MAI THI CRACKE his wife, granted and conveyed to PHAP KY TRAN and MAI THI
TRAN, his wife, grantors herein, by deed dated August 26, 1991, and recorded in the
Cumberland County Recorder of Deeds Office in Deed Book Volume 'G", Volume 35;
Page 1182.
AND the said grantors hereby covenant and agree that they'will warrant specially
the property hereby conveyed.
