Servioe. Corporation and/or his personal U8e.
o. September 19, 1986: Defendant, aBain,
borrowed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) from Plaintiff
and her husband as a loan for Defendant' 8 house.
5. On May 1, 1985 Defendant repaid to Plaintiff and
her hU8band Ten Thousand Dollar8 ($10,000.00) borrowed in
1984 and Plaintiff and her husband did not oharge interest.
6. In 1988, Defendant repaid to Plaintiff and her
husband Ten Thousand Dollar8 ('10,000.00) borrowed in 1986
and Plaintiff and her husband did not oharse interest.

1. All loans issued from Plaintiff and her husband to
Defendant were issued from a joint aooount owned by
Plaintiff and her husband, as joint tenants with ri.ht of
survivorship.
B. On or about April 21, 1993, Defendant onoe a.ain
oontacted Plaintiff and her husband at their home in
L~moyne, Pennsylvania resarding loaning Twenty Thousand
Dollars <$20,000.00) to Defendant to help Defendant make the
insuranoe payments for his oompany, Amerioan Roofins
Services Corporation.
9, On or about April 21, 1993, Plaintiff and her
husband a.reed to loan Defendant Twenty Thousand Dollars
<$20,000.00) and, like on all prior oooasions, Plaintiff and
her husband agreed not to oharge Defendant interest on the
Twenty Thousand Dollars <$20,000.00) and it was agreed that
Defendant would repay the loan six (6) months later in
Ootober, 1993,
10. On April 21, 1993 Plaintiff and her husband issued
a oheck in the amount of Twenty Thoueand Dollars
<$20,000.00) to Defendant, The said oheck was drawn on a
joint aocount owned by Plaintiff and her husband and a copy
of same is attaohed as Exhibit "A",

11. The said loan to Defendant was mailed from
Lemoyne, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania and proof of same
is attaohed as Exhibit "B".
12. On or about April 26, 1993, Defendant endorsed the
cheok and made it payable to his OQmpany, Amerioan Roofin.
Services Corporation and depoeited same in Corporation's
aooount on April 26, 1993.
13. When the loan became due and owing in October,
1993, Defendant was granted an extension to Maroh 1994 to
repay the loan.
14. On December 13, 1993 Plaintiff's husband died and
at the funeral for Plaintiff's husband, Defendant
acknowledged the existence of the debt and his
responsibility to make full repayment of the loan to
Plaintiff.
1~. Defendant failed in March, 1994 to repay the
moniee borrowed from Plaintiff.
16. BeBinninB in March 1994 to the filina date of this
action, Plaintiff has repeatedlY requested the repayment of
the Twenty Thoueand Dollars ($20.000.00) loaned to
Defendant, however, Defendant has refused to do 80.
