Michael Barrick, Deputy Sheriff, who being duly sworn according to
law, says that on Decembsr 08, 1994 at 12:25 o'clock P.M., E.S.T., he served
a true copy of the within Summons in Civil Action Law, in the above entitled
action, upon the within named defendant, to wit: Hempt Brothers, Inc., by
making known unto Edna Hanratty, ReceptioniAt and adult in charge of
defendant's usual place of business, at 205 Creek Road, Camp Hill,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, its contents and at the same time handing
to her personally the said true and attested copy of the same.
R. Thomas Kline, Sheriff, who being duly sworn according to law,
says that he made diligent search and inquiry for the within named
defendant, to wit: Roger Christian Studer, but was unable to locate him in
his bailiwick. He therefore deputized the Sheriff of York County,
Pennsylvania, to serve the within Summons in civil Action Law according to
law.
YORK COUNTY RETURN: Now, December 21, 1994 at 7:12 o'clock P.M.,
E,S,T., served the within Summons, upon Hempt Brothers Inc. et. a1. at
627 Ridge Road, Lewisberry, York County, PA by handing to Roger Studer a
true and attested copy of the original Summons and made known to him the
contents thereof. So answers: Kenneth L. Markel, Sheriff of York County,
Pennsylvania. By Deputy Sheriff Marshall Roser.
