IN THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHAMPTON, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A "DECLARATION OF TAKING" AND ALL NECESSARY ACTION FOR THE ACQUISITION THEREOF WHEREAS. the Shippen,burg Borough Authority (the "AUTHORITY"), Cumborlend end Frenklin Counties, Pennsylvania is about to ins tell a water service main along the Beltimore Road, In Southampton Township. Cumbarland County. Pannsylvenla; and, WHEREAS. in order to accomplish its purpose. it Is necessery for the AUTHORITY to acquire the necessery right. of.wey end easements to the lend included In the proposed area where the water mein is to be instelled; and, WHEREAS. the AUTHORITY has baen unabla to agree with the owners of the property to be acquired. on the price or damages to be paid; and. WHEREAS. in accordanca with the Section 4lBl(l) of the "Municipality Authorities Act." as amended, the AUTHORITY is authorized to acquire title to the properties through eminent dome in proceedings.
