3. Defendant, Dorothy E. Shadle, is an adult individual
believed to be residing at RD 8, Lot 57, Regency Woods Mobile
Home Park, Carlisle, Cumberland county, Pennsylvania 17013
(individually, "Dorothy Shadle," and collectively with Patrick
Shadle, the "Defendants").
4. Jurisdiction exists in this county pursuant to 42 Pa.
Cons. Stat. ~ 931.
5. Venue properly lies in this county pursuant to Pa. R.
Civ. P. 1006.
6. On or about June 30, 1986, the Defendants entered into
a retail installment contract (the "Contract") to purchase a 1986
Tidwell Spartan mobile home, vehicle identification number
TWINCGS12446, title number A38642304 (the "Mobile Home"), from
Regency Woods Mobile Home Sales, 6525 Carlisle Pike,
Mechanicsburg, pennsylvania (the "Seller"). Under the Contract,
the Defendants granted the Seller a security interest ,in the
Mobile Home. A copy of the Contract is attached hereto as
Exhibit "A", and is incorporated herein by reference.
7. Pursuant to the Contract, the Seller assigned its
rights under the Contract to First Manufactured Housing Credit
Corp. ("FMHCC"), P.O. Box 190, Glen Burnie, Maryland 21061, which
perfected a first priority lien on the Mobile Home by recording
its security interest on the Certificate of Title for the Mobile
Home (the "Title"). A copy of the Title is attached hereto ao
Exhibit "B" and incorporated herein by reference.

8. FMHCC subsequently assigned its rights under the
Contract to Vanderbilt (the "Vanderbilt Assignment"). A copy of
a Limited Power of Attorney that evidences the Vanderbilt
Assignment is attached hereto as Exhibit "c" and is incorporated
herein by reference.
9. Pursuant to the Contract, the Defendants were required
to make payments of $308.96 to Vanderbilt on the thirtieth day of
each month during the term of the Contract.
10. The Defendants failed to make such payments that were
due on June 30, 1994 and July 30, 1994.
11. On or about August 2, 1994, Vanderbilt sent both
Patrick Shadle and Dorothy Shadle a Notice of Default and Right
to Cure Default (the "Default Notice"). Copies of the Default
Notice to Patrick Shadle and the Default Notice to Dorothy Shadle
are attached hereto as Exhibits nD" and "En, respectively, and
incorporated herein by reference.
12. On or about August 3, 1994, Vanderbilt received payment
from the Defendants in the amount of $308.96, which Vanderbilt
applied to the Defendants' June, 1994 payment. This payment did
not include the $5.00 late fee as stated in the Contract for
payments made more than ten days after their due date.
13. The Defendants failed to cure the default.
14. On September 7, 1994, Vanderbilt, pursuant to the
Contract, accelerated the Defendants' obligations under the
Contract and demanded payment of the remaining balance of
$17,413.40.

15. On or about October 5, 1994, Vanderbilt received
payment from Defendants in the amount of $308.96 which Vanderbilt
applied to the Defendants' July 1994 payment. This payment did
not include the S5.00 late fee as stated in the Contract for
payments made more than ten days after their due date.
16. On or about November 2, 1994, Vanderbilt received two
payments from the Defendants each in the amount of $308.96, for a
total of $617.92, which Vanderbilt applied to the Defendants'
August, 1994 and September, 1994 payments. Neither of these
payments included the $5.00 late fee as stated in the Contract
for payments made more than ten days after their due date.
17. The payments received by Vanderbilt, identified in
paragraphs 12, 15 and 16 above, are $16,177.56 less than the
remaining balance stated in paragraph 13 above and are
insufficient to bring the Defendants' account with Vanderbilt
current even if their obligations had not been accelerated.
18. Defendants have failed to pay the remaining balance,
and have failed to cure the default.
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff Vanderbilt respectfully demands
that judgment be entered in its favor and against Defendants,
Patrick Shadle and Dorothy Shadle in the amount of $16,177.56,
plus pre-judgment and post-judgment interest, costs of
collection, including reasonable attorneys' fees, expenses, and
court costs, and such further relief as the Court may deem just
and proper,

First Carolina Financial Corp, ("FCFC") a corporation
organized and existing under tho laws of the state of South
Carolina hereby constitutes and appoints Vanderbilt Mor~gage and
Finance, Inc. ("Vanderbilt"), by any of its officers, its true
and lawful attorney-in-fact, in its name, place and stead, solely
for the purpose of:

Endorsing promissory notes from FCFC to Vanderbilt and
b. executing assignments from FCFC to Vanderbilt of
titles, UCC-1(s), mortgages, Deeds of Trust, deeds to
secure debt, and other security instruments securing
promissory notes; and
c. executing releases of liens and security interests
encumbering manufactured homes referenced in the
Agreement hereafter defined,
