The plaintiff fears for her safety, for her child and her relatives. b, In or about late July, 1994, the defendant srabbcd lhe plaintiff around her Ileek in a head lock, pulled her Inlo the Iivlni room, pushed and shoved her about, choked her, and held her by her neel< asalnst the wall balanced on her toes. When lhe defendant let ao of lhe plaintiff and srabbed a knife from a kitchen drawer, the plaintiff lOOk the parties' child, ran from the house and drove 10 a neiihbor's home for safety, The plaintiff sustained scratches on her arms, tinier marks and soreness about her neck as a result of this Incident, c. In or about December, 1993, when the plaintiff tried to leave lhe house with the parties' baby lhe defendantlhreatened her saylns, "If you try to leave, I'll kill you and the baby, The plalnllff feared for her life and her child's, 6.
