($1.00) Dollar to it in hnnd paid by owner, tho receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, and tIle further consideration mentioned
in the ilgreement aforesoid, tor thomselves and their
subcontractors, and all partle~ acting through or undAr them,
covenant and agree that no mechanic's liens or claims shall be
filed or maintained by them or ony of them against the said
buildings and the lot ot ground appurtenilnt thereto tor or on
account at any work done or materials furnished by them or any of
them under sa id contract or otherw ise, tor, towards, in or about
the erection and construction at the said buildings on the lot
above-described, and tho said contractor, tor themselves, their
subcontractors and others under them hereby expressly waive and
relinquish the right to have, file and maintain any mechanic's
