NOW THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH: That the Contractor lor and in consideration 01 the contract
aforesaid and the consideration mentioned thereunder, as well as the lurther conlideration 01 One ($t.OO) Dollar
to him in hand paid by the Owner at or belore the sealing and ddivery 01 these presenU, the receipt whereolla
hereby acknowledged, does hereby covenant, promise and agree that no mechanica' lien or claim or other lien or
claim 01 any kind whauoever shall be filed or maintained against the laid building or buildings or the curtilage or
curtilagea appurtenant thereto, by Contraetor or by any sub.contractor, materialmen or laboren lor work done or
materials lurnished under said contract or by any other party acting through or under them or any 01 them lor
and about laid building or buildings or any part thereol, 0 r on credit thereol, and that nlllub-contractors, material.
men, and laborers on laid work shall look to and hold Contractor persooally liable lor all sub.contracu, materialo
lurnished and work and labor done, so that there Ihall not be any legal or lawlul claim 01 any kind whatever
against Owner lor any work done or labor or materials lurnished under said conlract lor and about the erection,
construction and completion 01 said buildings as aloresaid, or under any contract ror extra work, or work lupple-
mental thereto, or otherwise.
AND this Agreement waiving the right 01 lien shall be an independent covenant and shall operate and be
etrective as well with respcct to work done and materials lurnished under any supplemental contract lor extra work
in the erection, construction and completion 01 the said building or buildings as to any work and labor done and
materials lurnished under the contract aloresaid.
AND, in order to give the Owner lull power and authority to protect himsell and the lot or 1015 01 ground
against any and all claims filed by the Contractor or anyone acting under or through him or it in violation ol the
loregoing covenant, the laid Contractor lor himsell, thcmselves, iuelr, hereby irrevocably authorizes and empowers
any Attorney ol any Court 01 Common Pleas 01 the Commonwcalth or Pennsylvania, to appear lor him, them, it,
or any 01 them, in any or the said CourU 01 Common Pleas as Attomey lor him, them or it and in his, their, 115,
name, mark satislied 01 record at the cost and expense or the Contractor or 01 any Sub.Contractor or Materialman,
or Materialmen, any and all c1ailllJ or claim, lien or liens, filed by or lor the Contractor, or any Sub.Contractor or
Materialman, or in his or their name against said building or buildings, lot or 1015 01 ground or any part thereo! and
lor such act or acu this shall be good and sulfident warrant and authority, and a reference to the Court, Teml
and Number in which and where this Agreement shall have becn filed shall be a sufficient exhibit 01 the Authority
herein containcd 10 warrant such action, and the Contractor lor himselr, themselves, itsell, do hereby remise, release
and quit-claim all righu and all manner 01 errors, delects and imperlections whatsoever In entering such latis!action
or in anywise touching or concerning the same.
