By virtue of the authority conferred by the Suretyship
Aqreement, a copy of which is attached to the Complaint filed in
this action, I appear for the Defendants and confess judgment in
favor of the Plaintiff and aqainst the Defendants for the sum of
$87,726.52, toqether with interest as may hereafter accrue and
costs of suit.

COMPLAINT
1. plaintiff Farmers Bank and Trust company is a state banking
institution with offices at 13 Baltimore street, Hanover, pennsylvania
17331.
2. Defendants Daniel E, Spealman and JoAnn G. Spealman, are
adult individuals living and residing at 4 Evergreen circle, Westford,
Massachusetts 01886.
3. On or about April 5, 1993, Defendants, for good and valuable
consideration made, executed and delivered a Suretyship Agreement to
Plaintiff in the amount of One Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars
($115,000) plus interest thereon. A true and correct copy of said
Suretyship Agreement is attached hereto, made a part hereof and marked
Exhibit "A".
4. The suretyship Agreement referred to in Paragraph 3 above
has not been assigned by plaintiff to any person or organization.
5. Judgment has not been entered on the suretyship Agreement
referred to in Paragraph 3 above in any jurisdiction.
6. The Suretyship Agreement provides that Plaintiff may confess
judgment against Defendants for the above sum [of One Hundred Fifteen
Thousand Dollars ($115,000)] with costs of suit and with fifteen
percent (15t) added for collection fees.
7, The total liability of the Defendant on and under the
Suretyship Agreement is $76,283.93. Fifteen percent (15t) of said
principal sum is $11,442.59.
8. Plaintiff has been advised and, therefore, avers that
Defendants executed the Suretyship Agreement referred to in Paragraph
4 above for business purposes.
9. Plaintiff has been advised and, therefore, avers that the
individual Defendants' income exceeds $10,000.
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff demands judgment against Defendants in the
sum of $87,726.52, together with interest as may hereafter accrue and
costs of suit.
