premises owned by Owner described as lollows:

NOW THEREFORE this agreement witnesseth thai the said Contractor for and In consideration of one
dollar to him In hand paid by Owner, the receipt whereof 15 hereby acknowledged, and the further considera-
tions mentioned In the agreement aforesaid, and Intending to be legally bound hereby, for hlmsell and his
sub.contractors and materialmen, and all parties aCllng through or under him, covenants and agrees that no
mechanics' claims or liens shall be lIIed or maintained by him, them or any 01 them against the said building
and the lot of ground appurtenant thereto, or any of them, for, or on account of any work or materials
furnished by him, them, or any of them, under said cotract or otherwise, for,toward,ln or about the erection
and construction of the said buildings, or any of them, and the said Contractor, for hlmsell and his sub-
contractors and materialmen and others under him, hereby expresslywalves and relinquishes the right to
have, file or maintain any mechanlc's lien or claim against the said buildings, or any 01 them, and agrees that
this agreement waIving the right of lien shall be an Independent covenant.
