Re: Milton Davis
Dear Judge Bailey:
I am writing you at the request of Mr. Milton Davis to confirm
that he has completed the required 26 weeks of the ADVANCE
Program. He initiated the assessment on July 7, 1995 and was
subsequently admitted to the program on August 25, 1995 after
satisfactorily completing the assessment. He cooperated with the
program guidelines and completed his required weeks on June 28,
1996.
He submitted a copy of a PFA - 95-1630 from March 29, 1995. The
plaintiff was his wife Theresa Davis. Although he has cooperated
with the program we can never guarantee the impact on the
participant nor can we be assured that the victim's safety is
improved by the participants involvement with the program.
It is our hope that men who complete the ADVANCE Program will
continue their growth and will remain involved in the program.
We believe that through continued involvement in the program
their accomplishments toward non-violence may be more likely
sustained.
We want to thank you for your part in providing safety for
battered women and in bringing abusers to a point of
accountabil i ty.
Respectfully,
(~~L-.rJ
