The defondant, 'l'homas M. Shields, is an individual
at 467 E. Kin\l 8t., 8hippensburg, Cumberland County, Pa.
3. On January 10, 1995, tho plaintiff was the owner of a 1985
Ilonda Civic.
4. At or about 2.00 P.M. on the aforesaid date, the
plaint! U' II 11011, Heath C. ~'errol1, wall operating the said Ilonda in
a 1I0uthern direction on the Eallt King St., in 8hippensburg, Pa.
5. At the lIame time and place, the defendant, Thomas H.
8hield., waB operatin\l a 1976 Dod\le Pickup when he pulled from a
parkinll place directly into the plaintiff'o vehicle.
6. The call hion wall caused by the nelll1gence of the
defendant in the followinQ rellpectB'
a. In failillQ to operate his vehicle in a safe and prudent
manner.
b. In failinQ to observe traffic travelling south on East
KinQ 8t before pullinQ into plaintiff's vehicle.
7. A. a re.ult of the neQligence of the defendant, the
plaintiff BUBtained '1,269.86 in damages to her said Honda, all is
more fully Bet forth in the attached Exhibit A.
WHEREFORE, the plaintiff claimll of the defendants a sum of
'1,269.86, an amount requirinQ compulsory referral to arbitration
under the local ruloll of court.
