Whereas, on ths 01] .'If"" M""r /F'~r an Agreement was entered
into between C.J:lisle Hospital hereinafter called.
Owner, and the above contracting f1rm, hereinafter called Contraotor,
where1n and whereby said Cont~actor undertook and agreed to
Alterations Fbr Psychiatric Unit Expansion - Fifth Floor - "c" Building
upon the property owned by the Carlisle Hospital,
said Owner, located at 246 parker Street, Carlisle, Pa, 17013,
NOW, therefore, this ~greement witnesseth, that the said Contractor
for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) to him in
hand paid by the said Owner, reoeipt whereof is hereby aoknowledged,
tor himself, and his sub-oontractors, and all parties acting through
or under him, covenants and agrees that no meohanics liens or claims
shall be filed or maintained by him, them or any of them against
the said bUilding and the lot of ground appurtenant thereto, for
or on aocount of any Work done or materials furnished by him, them,
or any of them under said oontraot, or otherwise, for, towards, in
and about the ereotion and oonstruotion of said bUilding, and the
said ~ontraotor, for himself and his sub-contractors, and others under
him, hereby expressly waives and relinquishes the right to have, file
or maintain any meohanios l1ens or olaims against the said building
and agrees that this agreement waiVing the right of lien shall be an
Independent covenant.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have hereunto set their hands and
seals th~ day and year first above written.
