PETITION TO CHANGE NAME
TO THE HONORABLE, THE JUDGES OF SAID COURT I
AND NOW comes the Petitioner, MARION LUCILLE NIPPLE, by her
Attorneys, SNELBAKER & BRENNEMAN, P,c., and respectfully
represents as follows:
1. That your Petitioner is MARION LUCILLE NIPPLE, an adult
individual, who resides at 511 Susan Road, Camp Hill (East
Pennsboro Township), Cumberland county, Pennsylvania.
2, That your Petitioner is 72 years of age, having been
born on May 21, 1923, at Lafayette, New York, as Marion Lucille
Richards.
3. That your Petitioner first became a resident of the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania when she moved with her parents from
Syracuse, New York, to Middletown, Dauphin county, Pennsylvania,
and maintained such state residency until 1965, when she moved
with her husband and children to Atlanta, Georgia, Petitioner

resided in Georgia until December 6, 1978, when she and her
family relocated to 511 Susan Road, Camp Hill (East Pennsboro
Township), Cumberland county, Pennsylvania, where she has resided
continuously thereafter until the present time.
4, That your Petitioner was married to Burns Calvin Nipple
on January 19, 1946, at Middletown, Pennsylvania, and thereafter
became known as Marion Lucille Nipple.

5. That your Petitioner reeided with her hueband aforesaid
until his death on July 26, 1992, at Polyolinio Medioal Center,
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania,
6, That the following children were born of Petitioner's
marriage to Burns Calvin Nipple:
A, Dorothy Irene Nipple (born: December 16,
1946), now known as Dorothy Irene Powell.
B. Mary Lee Nipple (born: May 31, 1951), now
known as Mary Lee Nippell.
Both of said children are emancipated adults,
7. That your Petitioner dislikes her surname by marriage,
being a source of personal embarrassment, and desires to change
it to her maiden name: Richards,
8. That your Petitioner has no fraudulent purpose in
changing her surname, having no creditors (other than current
accounts) nor judgments, decrees or other process outstanding
against her,

respectfully requests your Honorable court to order her married
surname ("Nipple") to be changed to her maiden name ("Richards")

CIVIL ACTION - LAW
ORDER OF COURT
AND NOW, this ..l:l.-t day of August, 1995, after hearing
held on August 22, 1995, the Court finds as follows:
1. Marion Lucille Nipple filed with this Court a
Petition to change Name on July 11, 1995, seeking to
change her surname from "Nipple" to "Richards" pursuant
to 54 Pa. C.S. S 701 et seq.
2. The court entered an Order on July 12, 1995,
fiKing a hearing on said Petition for August 22, 1995,
and directed that notice of said hearing be published
one time in the cumberland Law Journal and a newspaper
of general circulation.
3. The required notices were published as
follows:
a. cumberland Law Journal - July 2B, 1995,
b. The sentinel - July 21, 1995.
4. The Petitioner is a resident of cumberland
county.
5. The Petitioner is a widow and has no minor
children.

6. No objections to the Petition have been filed
and none were received at the hearing.
7. The Petitioner appears to have no fraudulent
purpose in ohanging said surname.

that Petitioner shall hereafter be known as MARION LUCILLE
RICHARDS.
