Regarding the questions that you raised with respeot to Joanna
David, I can offer the following - the soarring in her glabellar
area is going to be permanent, It may be appropriate to recommend
secondary surgery at some point in the future, but at this time I
would suggest waiting at least two years to allow healing to
progress and to Bee exactly what tho natural outcome is going to
be,
My estimation would be that if such surgery were contemplated, it
would be done by the time she is about six or seven years of age,
The procedure can be done under local anesthesia and usually
children at that age, with mild sedation, will be cooperative
for such a procedure. The cost for the use of Ambulatory surgical
Facility would range between $500,00 and $1,200.00, The surgical
cost should not exceed $750,00, If additional dermabrasion were
recommended, the cost for that should not exceed $350.00,
The above fees are inclusive for any followup treatments,
Irrespective of the quality of the reconstructive surgery that I
have outlined, there will be a permanent scar that will continue
to be visible, There is nothing that we can do to completely
eradicate such a scar,
Hoping this information is of
help to you, I am,
