1. On Augullt 2/ 1.995, the Plaintiff filed a Pet.l.tion for
Protootion Order and cUlltody.
2. 1I11aringll on Plaintiff' Il petition were 1I0heduled fur August
9, 1995 and Augullt 25/ 1995/ but were continued at the request of
Plaintiff .
3. The partiell are currently negotiating ter/lls for a oonsent
order pertaining to the abuse alleglltionll railled by Plaintiff.
4. Defendant ill unsure if an agree/llent oan be reached as to
the oustody of the Parties' minor ohildren and is opposed to the
relief requested by Plaintiff to be the primary legal and physioal
oustodian of the ohildren.

nature.

AND NOW, this' day of August, 1995, upon presentation
and oonsideration of the within Petition, and upon finding that
the plaintiff, Tanya L. Price, now residing at 4761 Brian Rd,
Mechanicsburg, cumberland County, Pennsylvania, is in immediate
and present danger of abuse from the defendant, scott M. crist,
the following Temporary Order is entered.
The defendant, Scott M. crist, SSNI unknown and DOBl
10/20/74 now residing at 7 DUllea Dr., Camp Hill, Cumberland
county, Pennsylvania, is hereby enjoined from physically abusing
the plaintiff, Tanya L. Price, and/or placing her in fear of
abuso.
The defendant is ordered to stay away from the plaintiff's
residence located at 4761 Brian Rd, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland
County, P~nnsylvania, a residence which is leased solely by the
plaintiff, except for the limited purpose of tranSferring custody
of the parties' children. The defendant shall remain in his
vehicle at all times during tho transfer of custody.
The defendant is ordered to refrain from having any direct
or indirect contact with the plaintiff inClUding, but not limited
to, telephone and written communications, except for the limited
purpose of faoilitating oustody arrangements.
The defendant is enjoined from harassing and stalking the
plaintiff and from harassing tho plaintiff'u relatives, or the
minor ohildren.
The defendant is enjoined from entering the plaintiff'S
plaoe of employment.
The defendant is enjoined from removing, damaging,
destroying or selling any property owned jointly by the parties
or owned solely by the plaintiff.
A violation of this order may subjeot the defendant tOI i)
arrest under 23 Pa. C.8. 561131 ii) a private oriminal oomplaint
under 23 Pa. C.8. 56113.11 iii) a oharga of indireot oriminal
contempt under 23 Pa. C.8. 56114, punishable by imprisonment up
to six months and a fine of $100.00-$1,000.001 snd iv) oivil
contempt under 23 Pa. C.8. 56114.1. Resumption of oo-residenoe
on the part of the plaintiff and defendant shall not nullify the
provisions of the oourt order.
This Order shall remain in effect until modified or
terminated by the Court after notice or hearing and, can be
extendod beyond its original expiration date if the Court finds
that the defendant has committed another act of abuse or has
engaged in a pattern or practice that indicates continued risk of
harm to the plaintiff.

1. The plaintiff, Tanya L. Price, is an adult individual
residing at 4761 Brian Rd., Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania.
2. The defendant, Scott M. crist, SSNI unknown and POBI
10/20/74/ is an adult individual residing at 7 PUlles Or., Camp
Hill, Cumberland county, Pennsylvania.
4. The defendant has had an intimate relationship with the
plaintiff .
5. Since approximately November 1994/ the defendant has
attempted to cause and has intentionally, knowingly, or
recklessly caused bodily injury to the plaintiff, has placed the
plaintiff in reasonable fear of imminent serious bodily injury,
and has knowingly engaged in a cours~ of conduct or repeatedly
oommitted acts toward the plaintiff which have placed the
plaintiff n reasonable fear of bodily injury. This has included,
but is not limited tOt the following specific instances of abusel
a. On or about July 23/ 1995, the defendant returned
the children trom a vieit a day late and threatened to
punch the plaintiff in tha face when she asked him why
he did not return the children at the previouslY agreed
upon time.
b. On or about April 1995, the defendant became angry
with the plaintiff, ordered her to be quiet and spat on
her. The defendant punched the plaintiff in the leg
oausing bruises, than pushed the plaintiff onto the
floor, and hit her repeatedly not stopping until his
grandmother intervened.
c. In or about April 1995, the defendant forced his
way into the bathroom, pushing the door into the
plaintiff's back, He then threatened the plaintiff by
saying that he would cut the brake wires in her car and
to have someone beat her up.
d. Between November 1994 and May 1995, approximatelY
onoe a week, the defendant shoved, pushed, and spat on
the plaintiff. since May 1995 the defendant has made
harassing and threatening phone calls to the plal.ntiff
approximately once a week.
6. The plaintiff believes and therefore avers that she is
in immediate and present danger of abuse from the defendant
