STIPULATION AGAINST LIENS
THIS AGREBKEH'1' made the /,a;{; day of ~1i~'(, 1995, by
and between W. LEE ROLAND, BUILDER, of 1711 Gray Drive,
Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, hereinafter referred to as
contractor, AND JAMES M. CONNORS and MICHELLE L. CONNORS, his
wife, of 4 Ash Drive, Mechanicsburg, pennsylvania, hereinafter
referred to as owner, whereby the former undertook and agreed to
erect and construct a single-family dwelling on that certain lot
of ground situate in Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County,
pennsYlvania, being Lot No. 25A, Phase VII - Final Subdivision
plan of Meadowview Estates, said Plan being recorded in the
cumberland county Recorder of Deeds Office in Plan Book 68, Page
17.
BEING part of the same premises which Merle L. Stambaugh,
Executor of the Estate and under the Last will and Testament of
Mary G, stambaugh, et al., by deed dated December 12, 1986 and
recorded in the Cumberland county Recorder of Deeds Office in
Deed Book IIJII, Volume 32, Page 256, granted and conveyed unto
John M. Knaub and Janet D. Knaub, his wife. The said Janet D.
Knaub died March 26, 1995, whereupon full and complete title to
the within described real estate became vested solely in John M.
Knaub, surviving spouse,
ALSO BEING the same premises which John M. Knaub, by deed
dated Str-/UoJ,Lv I , 1995, and about to be recorded in the
Cumberland County Recorder of Deeds Office, granted and conveyed
unto James M. Connors and Michelle L. connors, his wife.

NOW THEREFORE, THIS AGREEMENT WITNBSSBTHI That the said
Contractor/ for and in consideration of the sum of One ($1.00)
Dollar to it in hand paid by Owner/ the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, and the further consideration mentioned in the
agreement aforesaid, for themselves and their subcontractors/ and
all parties acting through or under them, covenant and agree that
no mechanic's liens or claiMs shall be filed or maintained by
them or any of them against the said buildings and the lot of
ground appurtenant thereto for or on account of any work done or
materials furnished by them or any of them under said contract or
o~herwise, fort towards, in, or about the erection and
construction of the said buildings on the lot above described,
and the said contractor/ for themselves, their subcontractors and
others under them hereby expressly waive and relinquish the right
to have, filet and maintain any mechanic's liens or claims
against the said buildings or any of them and agree that this
instrument, waving the right of lien, shall be an independent
covenant.
