COMPLAINT
1. The plaintiff, DOROTHY M. ELDER, iB an individual reBiding
at 12 Circle Drive, MechanicBburg,Cumberland County, Penna.
2. The defendant, Christopher Holland, is an individual
r.siding at 908 Second St" New Cumberland, Cumberland County, Pa.
17070.
3. On November 18, 1994, the plaintiff was the owner of a
1994 Buick Gran Sport,
4. At or about 3.30 P.M. on the aforesaid date, the plaintiff
was operating the said Buick in a northern direction on South Third
Street in Lemoyne, Pa,
5. At the same time and place, the defendant, Christopher
Holland, was operating a 1983 Buick Century, when he attempted to
make a left hand turn onto South Third Street in Lamoyne, and he
collided with the plaintiff's vehicle,
6. The collision was caused by the negligence of the
defendant in the following respects.
a. In failing to wait for traffic to clear before turning
left onto South Third Street.
b. In failing to keep a proper lookout.
c. In failing to operate his vehicle in a safe and prudent
manner.
7. As a result of the negligence of the defendant, the
plaintiff sustained $3,949,29 in damages to her said Buick, as i.
more fully set forth in the attached Exhibit A.
WHEREFORE, the plaintiff claims of the defendants a SUID of
$3,949.29, an amount requiring compulsory referral to arbitration
under the local rules of court.
